You can dine at the breakfast bar in the kitchen,
at the dining table or even on the outside terrace
when the weather is nice. A great range of world
wines complement the food while top quality spirits,
international beers and excellent house champagne are
also available.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is offered daily, however
you are welcome to help yourself to anything, at any
time. Dining can be as formal or informal as you wish,
from four course gourmet meals to light, healthy snacks
or something from the 'Off-Piste' menu. All the food
is prepared to a high standard and the menu offers
traditional Swiss or International cuisine.
The 'Four Valley' resorts of Verbier, Nendaz,
Veysonnaz, Thyon and La Tzoumaz can be accessed
from The Lodge with a single ski-lift pass, offering
over 248 miles (400km) of skiable terrain, both on and
off-piste.
Verbier itself, boasts 121 miles (195km) of pistes that
suit all levels of skier, from nursery slopes for beginners
and children to heli-skiing for the adrenaline seekers.
The famous off-piste terrain of Verbier caters for
more than just skiing. Snowboard away from the busy
slopes in amongst the trees on fresh powder, explore
vast networks of cross country trails or take on the
'10km Sledge Run', the largest in the Alps. You could
try a snowshoe hike! You can explore areas that are
inaccessible to skiers. Take to the skies with a solo or
tandem paraglide and witness the incredible views of
Mont Blanc and The Matterhorn.
A full time Coordinator is at your disposal and can
organise all the activities and excursions you wish.
Designed for families, The Lodge has a range of
activities specially for children. Children under 12 can
become Lodge Rangers! Each Ranger will receive a
welcome pack with a t-shirt and backpack as well as
other goodies and surprises to make sure they’re ready
to hit the slopes. Different programmes can be tailored
to suit your little rangers needs, whether it's treasure
hunts to help familiarise them with the surroundings,
story book time in their rooms or skating parties on
'The Lodge’s' mini ice rink. Your children will never be
short of things to do. Babysitting can also be arranged
on request.
After an active day on the slopes, there’s plenty for you
to do back at The Lodge to relax and unwind. Work
out in the state-of-the-art gym or shoot some pool in the
party area. For ultimate pampering book a session in
the spa, sooth the muscles in the jacuzzi or swim in the
9m (29.5ft) black granite pool. For friends and family
time test your skills on the Nintendo Wii or watch a
movie together from the comfort of the sofas. Later
on snuggle up in front of the fire with a good book
and a warm drink or simply head out into Verbier and
enjoy the famous après ski in one of the 40 bars and
restaurants.
The beautiful setting of Verbier combined with
excellent skiing and Branson's unfaltering attention to
detail, ensures The Lodge is a truly exquisite winter
escape.
Getting There
The nearest international airport is
Geneva, which is roughly a two hour drive
from The Lodge. Many airline carriers fly
daily from Heathrow to Geneva.
Private planes are able to land at Sion
Airport which is only 45 minutes away by
car.
The Lodge can arrange helicopter or road
transfers on request from both Geneva and
Sion Airports.
There is also the option of taking a
train directly from Geneva Airport. enjoy
the alpine scenery on route to Martigny,
a town about a 30 minute drive from
Verbier.
No Visa is required to enter Switzerland
as a British or American citizen. On
entry a stay of up to 90 days is granted.
Every passenger must have at least 6
months validity and two free pages
remaining on their passport.
