You can dine at the breakfast bar in the kitchen,<br />
at the dining table or even <strong>on</strong> the outside terrace<br />
when the weather is nice. A great range of world<br />
wines complement the food while top quality spirits,<br />
internati<strong>on</strong>al beers and excellent house champagne are<br />
also available.<br />
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is offered daily, however<br />
you are welcome to help yourself to anything, at any<br />
time. Dining can be as formal or informal as you wish,<br />
from four course gourmet meals to light, healthy snacks<br />
or something from the 'Off-Piste' menu. All the food<br />
is prepared to a high standard and the menu offers<br />
traditi<strong>on</strong>al Swiss or Internati<strong>on</strong>al cuisine.<br />
The 'Four Valley' resorts of Verbier, Nendaz,<br />
Veys<strong>on</strong>naz, Thy<strong>on</strong> and La Tzoumaz can be accessed<br />
from The Lodge <strong>with</strong> a single ski-lift pass, offering<br />
over 248 miles (400km) of skiable terrain, both <strong>on</strong> and<br />
off-piste.<br />
Verbier itself, boasts 121 miles (195km) of pistes that<br />
suit all levels of skier, from nursery slopes for beginners<br />
and children to heli-skiing for the adrenaline seekers.<br />
The famous off-piste terrain of Verbier caters for<br />
more than just skiing. Snowboard away from the busy<br />
slopes in am<strong>on</strong>gst the trees <strong>on</strong> fresh powder, explore<br />
vast networks of cross country trails or take <strong>on</strong> the<br />
'10km Sledge Run', the largest in the Alps. You could<br />
try a snowshoe hike! You can explore areas that are<br />
inaccessible to skiers. Take to the skies <strong>with</strong> a solo or<br />
tandem paraglide and witness the incredible views of<br />
M<strong>on</strong>t Blanc and The Matterhorn.<br />
A full time Coordinator is at your disposal and can<br />
organise all the activities and excursi<strong>on</strong>s you wish.<br />
Designed for families, The Lodge has a range of<br />
activities specially for children. Children under 12 can<br />
become Lodge Rangers! Each Ranger will receive a<br />
welcome pack <strong>with</strong> a t-shirt and backpack as well as<br />
other goodies and surprises to make sure they’re ready<br />
to hit the slopes. Different programmes can be tailored<br />
to suit your little rangers needs, whether it's treasure<br />
hunts to help familiarise them <strong>with</strong> the surroundings,<br />
story book time in their rooms or skating parties <strong>on</strong><br />
'The Lodge’s' mini ice rink. Your children will never be<br />
short of things to do. Babysitting can also be arranged<br />
<strong>on</strong> request.<br />
After an active day <strong>on</strong> the slopes, there’s plenty for you<br />
to do back at The Lodge to relax and unwind. Work<br />
out in the state-of-the-art gym or shoot some pool in the<br />
party area. For ultimate pampering book a sessi<strong>on</strong> in<br />
the spa, sooth the muscles in the jacuzzi or swim in the<br />
9m (29.5ft) black granite pool. For friends and family<br />
time test your skills <strong>on</strong> the Nintendo Wii or watch a<br />
movie together from the comfort of the sofas. Later<br />
<strong>on</strong> snuggle up in fr<strong>on</strong>t of the fire <strong>with</strong> a good book<br />
and a warm drink or simply head out into Verbier and<br />
enjoy the famous après ski in <strong>on</strong>e of the 40 bars and<br />
restaurants.<br />
The beautiful setting of Verbier combined <strong>with</strong><br />
excellent skiing and Brans<strong>on</strong>'s unfaltering attenti<strong>on</strong> to<br />
detail, ensures The Lodge is a truly exquisite winter<br />

Getting There<br />
The nearest internati<strong>on</strong>al airport is<br />
Geneva, which is roughly a two hour drive<br />
from The Lodge. Many airline carriers fly<br />
daily from Heathrow to Geneva.<br />
Private planes are able to land at Si<strong>on</strong><br />
Airport which is <strong>on</strong>ly 45 minutes away by<br />
car.<br />
The Lodge can arrange helicopter or road<br />
transfers <strong>on</strong> request from both Geneva and<br />
Si<strong>on</strong> Airports.<br />
There is also the opti<strong>on</strong> of taking a<br />
train directly from Geneva Airport. enjoy<br />
the alpine scenery <strong>on</strong> route to Martigny,<br />
a town about a 30 minute drive from<br />
Verbier.<br />
No Visa is required to enter Switzerland<br />
as a British or American citizen. On<br />
entry a stay of up to 90 days is granted.<br />
Every passenger must have at least 6<br />
m<strong>on</strong>ths validity and two free pages<br />
remaining <strong>on</strong> their passport.<br />
