Coronavirus continues to impact communities and is likely to
leave a lasting legacy on the housing sector. Smaller housing
associations have shown their resilience, ability to adapt
and inspiring commitment to the communities they serve.
However, with increasing economic uncertainty, the sector
now more than ever needs to work together and build further
partnerships in order to continue to provide fundamental
support and services.
In a rapidly changing environment with many competing demands on business plans such
as net zero carbon, building safety, development and growth, future ways of working,
governance, compliance, resources and expertise, smaller housing association’s need to find
innovative ways to help navigate the road ahead.
This September we will bring together smaller housing associations to enjoy two full days
of the latest insights, analysis and policy debate. We understand the time and financial
constraints of smaller housing associations, so uniquely for 2021 we will be hosting the first
day in-person in London and the second day virtually using our bespoke event platform. This
allows you to have greater flexibility to enjoy our two days of amazing content while saving
time out of the office and money on travel and hotel costs.
Join us in London and virtually to explore and develop the crucial role smaller housing
associations can play in the national recovery.
and opportunities for those involved in the small housing
What extra safety measures will be in place
at the Business Design Centre?
The National Housing Federation and Business Design Centre have been accredited to run safer
events. Below are some of the measures in place:
• Temperature checks and self-declaration of health, upon arrival.
• NHS track and trace upon entry.
• Face coverings.
• Enhanced cleaning at venue, particularly in high traffic areas.
• Enhanced ventilation.
• Encouragement of regular handwashing and sanitising.
• Staggered session times to avoid queues and groups gathering.
We’ve also tried to ensure that delegates will be able to avoid travelling
during peak rush-hour in London.
Please note: we are regularly reviewing our guidelines to ensure our events are as safe as possible, so this information
may change, and for the latest info check our website or pre-event emails.
