PURPLE LOVE GRASS<br />
A native grass found in sunny, open fields and<br />
meadows throughout much <strong>of</strong> the U.S. and<br />
Canada. A drought-tolerant, tough little plant.<br />
Grows in dense clumps; spreads by rhizomes.<br />
A halo <strong>of</strong> purple panicles makes it showy in<br />
mass plantings. A resilient ground cover or lawn<br />
alternative; handles difficult areas at pavement<br />
edges and in parking lots.<br />

BEYOND BLUE FESCUE<br />
Grows in a neat mound <strong>of</strong> bright-blue foliage.<br />
Maintains its color through the growing season<br />
and remains evergreen or semi-evergreen.<br />
Cream-colored blooms rise above the foliage<br />
for an appealing visual pop. A fantastic color<br />
display and outstanding in containers. Withstands<br />
poor soil but needs good drainage; it is<br />
said to be heat, humidity, and drought tolerant.<br />
Propagation without permission strictly prohibited.<br />
Best shipped by May 31.<br />

ELIJAH BLUE FESCUE<br />
Gorgeous blue foliage and one <strong>of</strong> the most<br />
dependable fescues. Grows in a tight clump;<br />
spikes <strong>of</strong> blue-tinged inflorescences emerge in<br />
early summer. Can maintain its color throughout<br />
winter. Prefers cooler climates but can look<br />
good in the South with afternoon shade and<br />
well-drained soil (may slow down and perhaps<br />
die back in hot, humid summers). Discovered<br />
at The Plantage <strong>Nursery</strong> on Long Island. Best<br />
shipped by May 31.<br />
