ep05 Josh heads to one of the most
progressive places in the world to visit the
world’s first & largest cultured meat
bioreactor that can feed 10,000 people
animal protein with 90% less resources than
conventional animal agriculture, while
leading environmental engineers demonstrate
how they’re able to combat drought with a
machine that pulls water out of thin air. Then
Josh explores the world’s first fuel-cell
powered freight train who’s only exhaust is

of our coral reefs by joining forces
with a unique oil-spill-eating
microbe? Josh also meets with the
creators of a fully biodegradable
leather-like product made of fine
mycelium (mushroom roots), and
finally, meets with the mayor of NYC
to understand why Humpback
whales are making a return to NYC’s
Hudson River after a century.

cars is bright as this company
upcycles them in the most
unsuspecting way. Josh visits
California’s controversial Hemp crops
to learn how this plant is feeding
millions of people with a twist on a
conventional American staple. Finally
a state of the art beach cleaning
robot collects discarded fishing nets
and repurposes them into sustainable
carpet loom diverting 300 tons of
waste annually.
