Manifestation and You

In the beginning, there was a thought. All ideas that pop into your mind

come to you for a reason. Sometimes it’s there as something to directly

manifest, sometimes it’s there to help you learn more about yourself and your

preferences so you can expand your understanding of what is possible and let

something bigger flow to you. Ultimately, there are no accidents and it’s up to

you to listen to your intuition, trust yourself, and do the inner work so you can

continue evolving with the flow of life.

There’s been a ton of things said about the law of attraction and manifestation.

We humans are amazing at making things much more complicated than we

need to.

Let’s break down some simple facts:

1. Anything we desire has the ability to be manifested.

2. Everything we desire is for the feeling we think we are going to have when

we achieve said goal.

3. We can only bring into fruition the things that we believe we can have,

and it’s up to us to boost our belief and release our doubt so we can have

what we want.

There are a few simple steps to manifestation:

1. Ask for what you want.

2. The Universe creates it and gives it to you.

3. You let it in by making it feel natural and present in your current experience.

Step three is where we often get stuck for a couple different reasons.

We are asking for what we want out of fear, lack, or pressure. The presence

of these lower vibrating emotions are a clear indicator that our belief level

is too low. If you believed what you wanted was here/on its way, you’d be

excited versus pensive or worried. We want to make things happen on our

own. If you’ve been told that you need to work hard in life to be successful,

it feels especially difficult to let go of control because it’s the opposite of

everything we’ve been told, practiced, and the habits that we’ve built.

Our habits of thought are working against us. When it comes to creating your

goals, you might feel resistance or pressure based on limiting beliefs you’ve

placed on yourself or others.


Thoughts of “Who am I to have this?”, “If I get this,what will other people

think?”, “If I don’t achieve this goal, what does it mean about me?”, and

“How will my relationships change if I achieve this goal?”or variations of these

limiting thoughts can keep you from your desires. The fear of success and

the fear of failure show up differently in each person, however, you’ll begin

to recognize it for what it is—just fear trying to keep you safe. When you are

able to focus on what you want, why you want it, the feeling of having it, and

practice making it feel natural, you’ll be living in the happy place of excited

expectation. This is when the magic happens. The work we get to put it in is

not one of blindly “doing”, it’s all about “being”. Being in the vibration and the

feeling of achieving the goal, being successful, and relishing in satisfaction will

allow you to set goals and create action steps that are aligned with the result

you want—allowing you to achieve much more than filling your to-do’s with

busy work.

Emotions are the Key

Your body is a great communicator and often we have to learn how to speak

it’s language. You can easily recognize the signs when you’re hungry. There’s

a little bit of burning and bubbling and your energy feels low. If you’re too

hot or too cold, you sweat or shiver. If you’re in a situation that you shouldn’t

be in, you feel odd, standoffish and just not right. Your body is consistently

giving you feedback on if you’re heading on your right path, if you’re doing

things that are in alignment with your highest and best, and can serve as

an amplifier to your dreams and desires. Abraham-Hicks has this amazing

emotional scale to help you check in with yourself and make the conscious

decision to feel better. First published in the book “Ask and It Is Given”, the

higher you are on the chart, the higher your vibration, making it easier for you

to attract good things and make decisions from a place of abundance. Use it

to see where you’re at, and slowly move up through visualization, meditation,

journaling and doing fun things that bring you joy. When you’re in the flow of

joy, freedom and empowerment, your attraction power is a 10. When you are

at the lower end of the chart, most things operating in the higher places will

feel false, inauthentic and will probably just annoy you. Be kind to yourself if

you find you’re not where you want to be and allow yourself to transition up

the scale, step by step. I keep a print out of the scale behind my workstation

Creating Intentions and Goals

Einstein said it best, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking

we used when we created them.” Therefore, you have to change your habits

of thought, so you can act differently and get the results you want. If you want

to create a million dollars in your business, it’s best to make decisions from the

headspace of someone who makes millions of dollars in their business. If you

want to be in a happy and successful relationship, it’s best to approach dating

with the feeling of love and connection that you want.


We all have a box that we live in, and this box holds all of our beliefs, ideas and

feelings about the world around us.

The four sides of this box consist of:

•Physical – Our health and wellness in our body center.

•Mental Wellness/Wealth/Liberty – Our mental processes and practices that

allow abundance to flow to and through us, allowing us to create freedom in

our lives.

•Spiritual Connection/Contribution to others – How we co-create with the

collective that we are all a part of. This has to do with giving back, volunteering,

and connecting to our Higher Self through meditation, journaling and other

mindfulness practices.

•Relationships – How are your relationships with yourself and those around

you? Are you getting what you need? Do you have proper boundaries? Are

you giving from a place of abundance, happiness and joy versus scarcity, fear,

and lack? Do you love yourself in the ways you want to be loved?

Sometimes people are doing really well in one area in their life and not so great

in the others, making their box uneven and unbalanced. In the Guided Clarity

Journal, the Current Life Inventory exercise takes you through listing where

you’re at in all four areas and rate yourself on a scale of 1–10.

In order to prevent burnout, neglecting other areas, and falling into tunnel

vision you would want to work on keeping those numbers as close to each

other as possible to make sure you’re living a well rounded and satisfying life.

Goal setting is important so we have a direction, and so we can focus our

energy consciously towards what we want.

The most effective way to create your goal is in the SMART format; specific,

measurable, attainable, risky and realistic, and time-sensitive.

This upgrades your goal from vague “I want to be rich before the end of the

year.” (What does rich mean to you? How do you want to attract your wealth?

The end of which year?) to concrete “I will receive $100,000 USD in my bank

account as a result of sales in my business on/ or before December 31st 2022.”


What sabotages our goals before we get started is not the actual goal itself,

it’s how we feel about it. Most of us have set goals, with various degrees of

success.

Often people can have blocks when it comes to goal setting, some examples

include:

•I have to do this all by myself. I feel overwhelmed and anxious.

•What if this is the wrong goal?

•Am I sure I want this?

•What do I have to give up to achieve this goal?

•How much work (aka struggle) do I have to put in to achieve it?

•What does this mean about me if I don’t get it?

•I feel out of control in my life, I have to focus on right now.

When thinking about your goals, you want to create ones that feel good and

expansive, and that are specific enough to motivate you without hindering

you. Say, for example, you want to hit your fitness goal of getting to 175

lbs from 240 lbs. You’ve never lost that amount of weight, and all your

experiences with shedding pounds left you feeling deprived. This led to you

gaining it back plus a couple extra pounds, leaving you feeling conflicted about

making this goal. Your belief about the difficulty of releasing and keeping off

those pounds is greater than your desire to, leaving you with a goal that’s not

in alignment. This is where we would tweak the goal to create one that works

for you, instead of against you.

This could look like:

•Taking a smaller chunk out of the goal.

•Being less specific about the number or how it gets done.

•Creating a goal about the feeling you believe achieving that goal will give you.

Therefore, your updated goal could look like:

•“I will increase my monthly passive income to a consistent amount on/or

before December 31, 2022, that allows me to give from the overflow with

joy.”

•“I will work in harmony with my body and enjoy the vitality, strength, and

beauty of it, allowing it to release any weight, ailments, or limitations that are

not serving my highest and best on/or before December 31, 2022.”


•“I will connect with a person I love and be fully present to the conversation,

allowing me to deepen my relationship with them and myself every week until

December 31, 2022.”

•”I will spend one hour daily dedicated to connecting with my Higher Self

and that which I consider source consciousness. This will be done through

the modality that feels aligned with me in the moment through reading,

meditation, yoga, or journaling from today until December 31, 2022.”

In setting intentions, you are shifting from the doing to the being. How do you

want to feel? Who do you want to become, how are you growing emotionally

and spiritually versus on the physical plane?

On the next page, you will have the opportunity to set your goals for the next

12 months in each of these areas. Be kind to yourself, stretch your belief in

what you think you can create and challenge your limiting beliefs.

Your Daily Actions

As you move through your day-to-day practices, make sure you are checking

in with yourself to see how you feel. Are you operating from that space of

abundance, expansion, and allowance, or are you feeling frustrated, lack, or

limitation?

Manifesting the life that you desire is all about anchoring in the feeling, and if

you aren’t consciously holding the feeling of being the person you desire to be

and acting the way they would, then you’re delaying the manifestation of the

things want. Use the Abraham-Hicks Emotional Scale throughout the day to

check in with yourself. If you’re not in the emotional state that you want to be

in, focus on easing yourself up.

Make sure to block out time for you to go for a walk, go screenless, read a

book, or meditate during the day. Practice delegating, taking breaks, asking

for help, and shifting your focus from being busy to being effective. Most

importantly, schedule in the activities that you are choosing to do for fun and

self-care because if you aren’t consistently doing them now, it’s really easy to

deprioritize them, shrug them off, or forget about them all together.

Come back to your goal setting page frequently to re-ground yourself and enjoy

using the space at the end of each month to celebrate you and track your upward

growth.

Start to fill out the Habit Tracker, Accomplishment Log, Gratitude Jar, and The

Mirror of Positive Reflections as you move through the month. When you create

evidence that you are on the right path and are able to focus on what you’ve

created, it gives you the opportunity to be proud of yourself and appreciate

your unique gifts and talents. In addition, during those times when you feel not

enough, a little lost and your inner voice tells you all the things that make you

doubt yourself, look back at your evidence to help stop Impostor Syndrome in

it’s track. In doing so, you’ll help yourself gain and rebuild confidence so you can

make your mark on the world and attain the success that you desire. Remember

to fill these exercises out to your satisfaction before you start your next month

while everything is still fresh in your mind.

Take time to journal and steep in the feeling of your accomplishments and the

life you are manifesting, as when you do, The Universe will excitedly bring more
