NEWS FROM THE BOARD
COMMUNITY INFORMATION
The Falcon Point East (“FPE”) subdivision
consists of the 613 lots located in the Arbor,
the Grove, the Landing and the Meadows.
Owners of these lots are members of the
FPE Homeowners Association, Inc. (the
“Association”). The Association is managed
by Spectrum Association Management,
LP (“Spectrum”). Policies are set by a five
member Board of Directors (the “Board”).
The Board is elected by the members of the
Association at the Annual Meeting held in
November of each year.

The 2022 dues will increase from $800 to $920.

The pool is open every day, from 8 AM to 8

Twice a month, Kathryn Crow with Spectrum
Association Management, LP will drive
throughout the community to document
non-compliance matters and will mail/
email letters to the homeowner.
Some of the most common mistakes that
homeowners/renters make are:
• Forgetting to cut, weed and edge your
grass on a regular basis:
• Frequency of maintenance depends on
the weather, rate of growth, weeds, etc.;
however, the maintenance must occur often
enough to ensure the lawn is maintained to
the community wide standard.
• Forgetting to put up your trash can at the
end of a trash collection day:
• Please put your trashcan and recycle bin
away and out of public view. Leaving your
can by the front of the garage door or on
the side of the home warrants a letter from
Mgmt. Co.
• If you have a lack of storage space within
your garage, an alternate solution might be
to purchase an enclosure for the side of your
yard, which hides the trash can from view.
• Not putting in a Home Improvement application
before you make a modification
to the exterior of your home.
SPEED LIMIT:
The posted speed limit for the community
is 25 mph.
STREET GUTTERS AND DRAINS:
Please keep the street area in front of your
house clean, so that leaves, pine needles,
grass clippings, dirt and liter will not accumulate
in the gutters next to the curb. Accumulated
debris will end up being washed
into the drains causing them to back up and
flood the streets. This also applies to lawn
contractors that are blowing debris into the
street instead of bagging them.

YMCA Turkey Dash - A Community Tradition
The Katy Area YMCA’s will host the 19th Annual YMCA Turkey Dash to be held at Monty
Ballard YMCA at Cinco Ranch Providing Fitness, Fun and Holiday Fellowship safely for the
Whole Family on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2021. The tradition returns for 2021
and we are excited to return to hosting a live race that will run through the Cinco Ranch
community as in years passed. With four events to choose from, there’s something for everyone;
a 10K, 5K, 1 Mile Walk/Run, a 1 mile Kids’ Run and also a Virtual Race option. Live
races will be start and conclude at Monty Ballard YMCA at Cinco Ranch. All registered race
participants will receive a t-shirt with their race packets and those completing their Live
10k and 5k will receive a finisher’s medal. Youth participating in the Live 1 Mile Kids’ Run
will receive a kids’ run finisher’s medal.
5,000 participants and more than 1,500 spectators and volunteers are expected to take
part in this year’s event. Race day highlights include 10K and 5K awards in age categories,
a post race party featuring refreshments, local businesses, games and a Kids Fun Zone.
A runners’ costume contest will be held with awards for most creative, best theme and
judge’s choice. In addition to completing a good race, participants have the satisfaction
of knowing their race fees go toward a good cause, the YMCA Be The Change Campaign.
This annual fundraiser ensures that Katy families have access to Y programs and services
regardless of their ability to pay.

November 6th
#GivingTuesdayKaty activities will officially launch this year with
a festive family-fun chili cook-off event at the Westlake Volunteer
Fire Station, 19636 Saums Road, on Saturday, Nov. 6th, from 11:30
AM to 1:30 PM. Participating nonprofits will be featured at the event
along with a chili cook-off, fire safety demonstrations, Santa photos,
music, games, vendor booths, photo opportunities and other
family-fun activities and competitions.
In addition, #GivingTuesdayKaty Dine & Donate events to raise funds
for participating area nonprofit organizations will be sponsored at
numerous restaurants throughout the greater Katy area throughout
November. Activities will culminate on GivingTuesday, Nov. 30th,

Star of Destiny Chapter (Katy), National Society
Daughters of the American Revolution will hold
their annual fundraising garage sale on Saturday, November 13,
2021. The sale will be held from 8 AM to 12 PM at: Estates of Chesterfield

There will be household items, fine china, furniture, toys, books
and much more! The Star of Destiny Chapter is an organization with

This garage sale is their main source of funds for patriotic activities

of the previous activities supported by the funds from the garage
sale include purchasing bells for Bells Across America, funding

libraries, funding a Wreath Across America ceremony at a local cemetery,
providing clothing and toiletries for a military medical base
in Germany, purchasing a ceremonial bugle for Michael E DeBakey
VA Hospital, purchasing and erecting a flag pole for Antioch Church
Cemetery/Katy Community Cemetery and annually providing a new
flag for the flag pole. For over 25 years, Star of Destiny NSDAR, Katy,
has dedicated themselves to historical preservation, promotion of
education and encouragement of patriotic endeavor.
