Village Ordinance
Regarding Boats,
Trailers and Campers
As our summer months come to an end, we want
to remind everyone of a Village Ordinance. Our
goal is always to make sure that our residents are
educated on our Village Ordinances so they can
make the right choices. These rules are in place to
preserve the appealing character of neighborhoods,
and to prevent eyesores and other problems that
can result when vehicles are parked for long periods
of time in residential areas, or when commercial
storage or activity is wrongly taking place.
§ 159.126 TRAILER, CAMPER AND BOAT
coach, motorized home, camping trailer and mobile
lots that adjoin a public street. In addition to the
foregoing restrictions, travel trailers, campers,
boats, boat trailers or commercial trailers may only
be stored or parked in an R-1 or R-2 Residential
District if they are parked or stored at least three
feet from any lot line and placed on an asphalt or
concreted surface.
(C) Special uses may be granted. Nothing contained
in this section shall prohibit granting of a special
use, by reason of practical difficulties or particular
hardship, upon compliance with the provisions,
terms and conditions of §§ 159.170 through
