I come from a lineage of three generations of Ice Cream makers who have produced
exceptional Ice Creams with countless satisfied customers, and today I am equally
proud to put my name to Mario’s luxury Ice Creams

Mario’s is one of Wales foremost luxury Ice Cream
makers that combines a strong Italian heritage
with Welsh ‘hiraeth’. Based in rural South Wales,
Mario’s is conveniently located in the heart of
dairy country where the warm temperate climate
provides lush pasture for a plentiful supply of
delicious first quality fresh milk that helps to
produce our award winning luxury Ice Cream.
Family traditions...
Mario Dallavalle firmly believes in the importance
of family values where his wife Heather and
children Riccardo, Francesca and Caitlin all help to
run the family business. Mario follows this principle
working closely with local farming families who
have the best herds and finest milk.
Mario has enjoyed over forty years experience as a
master Ice Cream maker and is a perfectionist in
the art of the Gelataio, a gift he inherited from his
grandparents in Italy. Mario chose West Wales to
settle to ensure the plentiful supply of first
quality milk and cream, the key essential
ingredients for his multi award
winning Ice Cream.
