Nouveau steht für eine kleine, aber feine Kollektion von hochwertigen<br />
Dekorservietten.<br />
Wir produzieren in unserer Produktionsstätte im Süden von Österreich und<br />
legen hohen Wert auf beste Druck- und Verpackungsqualität.<br />
Umweltfreundliche Produktionsbedingungen und Rohmaterialien sind für<br />
uns seit Jahren Standard. Wir arbeiten nach dem Umweltmanagementsystem<br />
ISO 14001 und beziehen unsere Energie zu 100 % aus einem angeschlossenen<br />
Wasserkraftwerk. Das chlorfreie Tissue-Papier für unsere Servietten stammt aus<br />
geschützten Wäldern nach FSC und unsere Druckfarben sind auf Wasserbasis.<br />
Beste Arbeitsbedingungen für unsere Mitarbeiter sind selbstverständlich.<br />

Nouveau stands for a small but fine collection of high-quality decorative<br />
<strong>napkins</strong>.<br />
We produce in our production facility in the south of Austria and put great<br />
importance to the best printing and packaging quality.<br />
Environmentally friendly production conditions and raw materials have<br />
been standard for us for years. We work according to the environmental<br />
management system ISO 14001 and obtain 100% of our energy from a<br />
connected hydroelectric power plant. The chlorine-free tissue <strong>paper</strong> for our<br />
<strong>napkins</strong> comes from protected FSC forests and our inks are water-based.<br />
Best working conditions for our employees are a matter of course.<br />

<strong>NOUVEAU</strong> - ClimatePartner-ID 13769-2006-1001<br />
Als ClimatePartner berechnen wir bei <strong>NOUVEAU</strong> alle CO2-Emissionen, die<br />
während der Produktion und in der Prozesskette unvermeidlich entstehen,<br />
und gleichen diese über anerkannte Klimaschutzprojekte aus.<br />
Die Plastikflut aufhalten – jeder kann seinen Beitrag leisten!<br />
Projektdetails:<br />
Über 8 Millionen Tonnen Plastikmüll landen jedes Jahr im Meer – ein Kipplaster<br />
pro Minute. 2050 wird es in den Ozeanen mehr Plastik als Fisch geben. Gerade<br />
in den Entwicklungsländern entstehen Unmengen an Plastikmüll durch<br />
Verpackungen und fehlende Infrastruktur, um Müll zu entsorgen. Dieser<br />
Müll sammelt sich an Land und gelangt über die Flüsse und durch Wind sehr<br />
schnell ins Meer.<br />
Geld gegen Plastik - das ist der Ansatz dieses Projekts, um das zu verhindern.<br />
In Haiti, Indonesien und auf den Philippinen können Müllsammler ihr<br />
Einkommen auf diese Weise verdienen. Jeder kann dort Plastikmüll sammeln<br />
und in den lokalen Sammelstellen der Plastic Bank in Geld, Lebensmittel,<br />
Trinkwasser, Handy-Guthaben, Speiseöl oder sogar Schulgebühren<br />
eintauschen. Der eingetauschte Gegenwert ist höher als der tatsächliche<br />
Marktwert des Plastiks, so dass die Leute vor Ort wirklich davon leben<br />
können.<br />
So gelangt Plastik durch dieses Projekt gar nicht erst ins Meer. Es wird recycelt<br />
und zu sogenanntem Social Plastic verarbeitet, das im Kreislauf wieder zu<br />
neuen Produkten wird.<br />

As a ClimatePartner, we at <strong>NOUVEAU</strong> calculate all CO2 emissions that<br />
inevitably arise during production and in the process chain, and offset them<br />
using recognized climate protection projects.<br />
Keeping plastic waste from entering the oceans!<br />
Project details:<br />
Over 8 million tonnes of plastic waste surge into the ocean each year - the<br />
equivalent of a dump truck’s worth per minute. Plastic will probably outweigh<br />
fish in the ocean by 2050.<br />
Plastic Bank offers a root-cause solution to ocean plastic. Especially<br />
in developing nations, the lack of disposal infrastructure and greater<br />
dependency on single use packaging result in a disproportionate amount<br />
of pollution. Plastic Bank provides income opportunities to the extremely<br />
impoverished, currently operating in Haiti, Indonesia, and the Philippines.<br />
People can collect plastic from their environment and bring it to their local<br />
Plastic Bank branch in exchange for money, fresh food, clean water, cellular<br />
service, cooking oil, or even school tuition for their children. Collectors are paid<br />
a premium in addition to the market plastic value, which ensures a liveable<br />
income. Collected plastic is recycled and processed into new raw material<br />
feedstock, called Social Plastic, which can be purchased by manufacturers to<br />
produce more environmentally and socially ethical products. This completes<br />
the plastic loop, creating a sustainable, circular economy.<br />
