Annual Assessments Reminder<br />
If you have not received your statement you should contact<br />
Margie Pingleton at 713-329-7152 or mpingleton@pmghouston.<br />
com or go to https://app.townsq.io/login to register to view your<br />
balance. PMG sends the statements and collects this assessment<br />
for <strong>Highland</strong> <strong>Trail</strong>s HOA. The assessment is due <strong>January</strong> 1 st of<br />
each year and if not paid by <strong>January</strong> 31 st , PMG implements a<br />
collection procedure for pursuing delinquent accounts, which is<br />
a part of the management contract with the association. For each<br />
month an assessment or any portion thereof, remains unpaid, it<br />
is subject to interest and a $20 administrative charge is added to<br />
the delinquent owner’s account. Unpaid accounts are subject to<br />
reporting to the credit bureau, filing an affidavit of lien against<br />
the property and may result in foreclosure of the property.<br />
Any owner who is unable to pay the assessment when due is<br />
encouraged to contact PMG immediately before the assessment<br />
becomes late to make payment arrangements. Please refer to<br />
your Association’s documents for further information regarding<br />
the annual assessment. These documents can be found on the<br />
TownSq website/application.<br />
Deed Restrictions<br />
Inspections are done roughly once a month by Associa PMG<br />
Houston and if you have received a letter or have any concerns<br />
about maintenance, please reach out to the Management Team.<br />
Modification/Home Improvements<br />
As a reminder, please be advised that all exterior changes/<br />
improvements require prior approval by submitting the<br />
Architectural Review Form. All requests or proposed plans should<br />
not begin until approval is received by the Architectural Control<br />
Committee. Log on to TownSq and download The <strong>Highland</strong> <strong>Trail</strong>s<br />
ACC Form under Documents, Forms.<br />
Trash Cans<br />
After pick-up, all garbage cans must be stored out of public view<br />
or you are in violation of the Deed Restrictions. Trash is picked<br />
up days are Mondays & Thursdays. The complete set of rules for<br />
trash/recycling is listed at the Texas Pride Disposal website: www.<br />

list. If we do not hear back from you after 3 tries, we will remove<br />

Glazed Apple<br />
Cream Pie<br />
INGREDIENTS:<br />
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon<br />
1/2 cup white sugar<br />
1 (15 ounce) package pastry<br />
1/2 cup milk<br />
for double-crust pie<br />
1/2 cup heavy cream<br />
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar<br />
1/4 cup butter<br />
1 tablespoon milk<br />
2 tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract<br />
2 tablespoons milk<br />
1 tablespoon butter, softened<br />
1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br />
2 tart apples - peeled, cored and sliced<br />
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour<br />
DIRECTIONS:<br />
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup cream and 1/4 cup butter. Heat until butter is<br />
melted, stirring occasionally. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, 2 tablespoons milk and vanilla; stir into saucepan. Cook<br />
until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and set aside to cool slightly.<br />
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). In a medium bowl, combine the apples, flour and cinnamon. Mix well. Line a 9<br />
inch pie pan with pie dough. Pour thickened filling mixture into pastry-lined pie pan. Arrange apple mixture evenly over filling.<br />
Top with second crust, seal and flute the edges. Cut slits in top crust. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown and<br />
apples are tender. Cool for at least 30 minutes.<br />
In small bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and 1 tablespoon softened butter. Blend until<br />
smooth; pour evenly over warm pie. Refrigerate for at least 1 1/2 hours before serving (longer is better). Source: allrecipes.com<br />
