The new Norden 901<br />
If ever there was a much anticipated addition<br />
to the adventure market in SA… nay…<br />
globally, it must be Husqvarna’s new Norden<br />
901. It has taken a mere two years to develop<br />
this bike from a concept model at Eicma, to<br />
a bike that we got to ride the other day. And<br />
this, despite the COVID p<strong>and</strong>emic that has<br />
disrupted so many things. That alone speaks<br />
volumes for the br<strong>and</strong>.<br />
South Africa was the first country to launch this bike after the<br />
Husqvarna world team hosted their launch a few weeks before. Five<br />
bikes were brought in for Journalists <strong>and</strong> dealers from around the<br />
country to ride. It was a short ride, but it just kinda whets your appetite<br />
for when the production models arrive towards the end of January.<br />
We all descended on the really, very cool Monate lodge our near<br />
Settlers <strong>and</strong> Marble Hall. If you are looking for a very cool venue to<br />
spoil your nearest <strong>and</strong> dearest, host a wedding or whatever, it’s a great<br />
spot!<br />
