EFO Funds Miramonte
Today’s students are becoming tomorrow’s leaders.
Your gift to EFO continues to benefit our Orinda students throughout their high
school years. EFO funding enables students to take advantage of smaller core
academic classes and to pursue an array of electives, while preparing for college
and life beyond Miramonte.
With a commitment of $515,000 for 2011-2012, EFO remains the
largest voluntary funding source at Miramonte. This year, EFO will fund
five additional English class sections, enabling better student learning
in smaller classes. EFO will also fund Mixed Chorus and Jazz Band, all of
which would have been eliminated without EFO. Besides academic classes,
EFO continues to support student programs, such as library and college
counseling, and numerous electives.
EFO now provides 100% of the support for all Visual and Performing
Arts (VPA) programs.
