conditions and spiritual lives of children especially
in third world and war-torn countries so that they
can transform their nation for Christ.

Message from the
Executive Director
Dear Ministry Partners,
Thank you for your prayers and continued support for Kids for the Kingdom over the years. Every few days
I sit down to personally hand sign each and every thank you note going out to everyone who supports Kids
for the Kingdom. I see so many of the same faithful, cheerful givers every time I pick up my pen to sign each
letter. Your gifts enable our indigenous teams to minister to those that Jesus commanded us to serve. Each
gift means so much to those in the field: life giving water, necessities and nutritious meals brought in one
hand with the Good News of the Gospel message in the other. When Jesus sat down with the woman at the
well, she was amazed that he knew her. God knows each and every one of those precious little ones being
ministered to by Kids for the Kingdom’s teams all around the world, and He uses the workers to reach them
with that same message. At every one of Kids for the Kingdom’s Bible clubs, feeding programs, orphanages,
schools, and clean water projects the Good News of the Gospel message is proclaimed loud and clear to
those we minister to. Thank you for your faithful gifts, prayers and support; each of you is part of the team that
works to minister to 242,653 children in 17 countries around the world!

Clean water
projects
In developed countries, we often take clean,
safe drinking water for granted. But in
much of the world, clean water is virtually
impossible to obtain. People in those areas
are forced to bring dirty, disease ridden water
home to drink and cook with. They constantly
worry if they are making their children and
families sick with the water they draw from
muddy puddles and streams.
Kids for the Kingdom takes a unique
approach to helping supply people to clean,
safe water. Each community applying for a
water well provides the manual labor to help
install the well - and houses and feeds the
drilling team.
After the well is in, the beneficiaries are
required to set up a board of directors to
oversee the water well and collect a small
fee from each user. This empowers the local
community to take ownership over their water
well and provides a small fund to maintain
and repair the well as necessary.

A partnership with Kids for the Kingdom creates a relationship of equals and gives
communities ‘skin-in-the-game’ by allowing them to participate in the work, giving
them ownership of the project.
As each new water system is dedicated our team leader tells the village people the
story of Jesus talking to the woman at the well.
“Jesus told the woman at the well that when she drinks from the water in the well
she will thirst again. However, Jesus says, ‘Whoever drinks the water I give him
will never thirst again.’ This ‘water’ that Jesus offers is the gift of eternal life.”
This is the Gospel message in uncomplicated terms. Each time someone draws
water from that well they are reminded that ‘Jesus is the living water.’

Bible Clubs
You might ask why Kids for the Kingdom’s Bible clubs almost always incorporate a feeding
program. Most of the children we minister to are in difficult circumstances and do not have
enough to eat. In order to reach them with the Gospel message, we need to first meet their
physical needs or they will not be able to hear over the roar of their empty stomachs. Jesus
realized that in order for people to hear his message, he must first meet their physical needs,
then they would be able to listen. Kids for the Kingdom follows His example and brings
practical aid in one hand and the Good News of the Gospel in the other. At each Bible Club
around the world, children hear the Good News of the Gospel and receive a hot, nutritious
meal so they can open their hearts to God’s word.

Feeding
programs
The Church of the Ham and Cheese Sandwiches. “When we began our ministry in Guatemala
City,” recalls Alvaro Perdomo. “We went to the poorest neighborhood, rented a small building,
prayed, and waited for God to send people to our new church.”
“That first Sunday, not one adult came,” says Pastor Alvaro. “Later, as we were preparing lunch,
some hungry children came by and asked ‘is this a church or a restaurant?’ We told them it was a
church. We decided to feed them and shared a Bible story.”
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I
was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a
stranger and you welcomed me,” Matt 25:35
“The following Sunday 20 children came for
lunch and Bible story time. Eventually we were
feeding 300-400 kids every Sunday and the
children started calling us The Church of the
Ham and Cheese Sandwiches.”
From that small beginning Alvaro Perdomo’s
church now ministers to thousands of children
and families through feeding programs,
medical clinics and a Christian school.
Kids for the Kingdom believes in presenting
the Good News message as we meet real
needs. The children in the Guatemala barrio
were hungry for food. Their little hearts were
starved for the gospel message. At a simple
feeding program, Kids for the Kingdom met
both those needs at the same time.

Ana and Camila
in Nueva Guinea, Nicaragua
Ana and Camila are sisters who were taken in by our team in Nueva Guinea, Nicaragua. Ana
is three and Camila is six. The girls were born in Costa Rica, but their mother is a Nicaraguan
citizen. Looking for work, she left Costa Rica and traveled back to Nicaragua, but due to
political turmoil they were unable to finalize their citizenship papers when they arrived. Their
mother was unable to give them the care they needed and was out of options. When they came
to our team’s attention, they were malnourished and sickly. The girls had nowhere to go and
would be forced to return to Costa Rica if no one helped them, so Kids for the Kingdom Nueva
Guinea program directors Rodiver and Victoria took them in.
Our team was able to feed them healthy,
nourishing meals and provide them with
clothes and medical care, and share the
Good News of the Gospel message with them
while they lived at our orphanage. Just a few
months after they arrived, their mother was
able to find work and stabilize her situation,
so she returned to bring them back home with
her. Kids for the Kingdom’s team is overjoyed
to have been a part of their story and
continues to pray for them each day.

Ana Cecelia
in Costa Rica
This past year, Kids for the Kingdom was able to reach a brand-new country and start
a ministry through Ana Cecelia Amador. Ana Cecelia is the daughter of Rodiver and
Victoria, our Program Directors in Nueva Guinea, Nicaragua. Due to the political situation
in Nicaragua, she now lives in Pavas, a suburb of San Jose, Costa Rica. Last year, when
the world faced a global lockdown, she realized that many families, widows, and orphans
in her immediate community would be without many basic needs. She immediately got to
work creating a relief program to help the families in her area.
There are about 1.4 million children
in Costa Rica and 34% of them live in
poverty. Ana has a heart to share the
Gospel with every child and family in a way
that brings them to a personal relationship
with Him. “I want to bring relief and joy to
these children through teaching the word of
God, providing activities, and food. I thank
God and each brother who is part of Kids for
the Kingdom and for their love towards us.”
Ana Cecelia’s ministry focuses on Sharing
the Gospel, Outreach, Food Distribution,
and providing activities for local children.
Ana Cecelia has many exciting plans for the
future of our ministry in Costa Rica. We are
so excited to see God continue to use her
and change lives through her!

Pandemic
relief
During the unprecedented Global
pandemic in 2020 - 2021, Kids for the
Kingdom worked to provide relief aid
to thousands of children, widows and
families across the 17 countries where we
minister. To helping our team during their
unexpected 73 day lockdown in Wuhan to
providing relief support and practical aid
along with the life changing message of
the Gospel to local communities around
the world, our teams showed up to do the
work God has called them to, even under
difficult circumstances.
Thank you to each Kids for the Kingdom
team member who went above and
beyond during the Covid pandemic,
you should each be proud of what you
accomplished!

Vocational
training
All of the children in Kids for the Kingdom programs - schools, orphanages, feeding programs,
and Bible Clubs - will eventually grow to become adults. They will all need a viable job skill to
support themselves and their families and help break the cycle of poverty.
Because of the need for vocational skills Kids for the Kingdom is constantly working to create
job-training and skills-training programs for youth. In recent years job-training centers have
been established and expanded in nine countries. Kids for the Kingdom constantly develops new
job-training programs and identifies national workers to run the programs. Once established,
many of these programs will allow the individual to run their own business and bring in needed
income to support themselves and their families for years to come. Kids for the Kingdom’s
vocational training programs have produced architects, computer science experts, carpenters,
beauticians, and many other careers for children in our programs.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human
masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24
