Titled “Helping Women, PERIOD,”it seeks to make a difference in the lives of womenand girls in need, by providing them with freefeminine hygiene products.To support the project, the Haddon Fortnightlyis collecting new, unopened menstrual productsfor donation to Distributing Dignity, a Cherry Hillbasednonprofit organization that will forward thedonated sanitary pads, tampons, pantiliners to localnonprofit entities that provide services to women inneed, for distribution to their clients.Members of the community are invited to supportthis project directly by dropping off new, unopenedfeminine hygiene products at the office of LisaWolschina & Associates, 224 Kings Highway East,thru Mon Feb 28, 10am to 4pm weekdays, or in thecollection bin at the door at other times.To make a financial contribution, send a checkpayable to The Haddon Fortnightly (with “HelpingWomen, PERIOD” on the subject line) to PO Box 321,Haddonfield NJ 08033 by Mon Feb 28.Spring musical The High SchoolDrama Club is preparingto present this year’sspring musical: Rodgers& Hammerstein’sCinderella.Using a new book byDouglas Carter Bean, theshow will open at 7:30pmon Fri Mar 18 andcontinue with eveningperformances on SatMar 19, Fri 25, and Sat26.A matinee has beenscheduled for 2pm onSun Mar 20.Tickets – $12 ($10 forstudents and seniors) –will be available online athmhs.booktix.comSeating is beingoffered at full capacity,so all audience membersmust wear masks.Themed concessionsand souvenirs will besold before the show andduring interval.
