“American Farmland Trust and I go back a long way. I’ve been interested
in farming since I was 8 years old. my mother used to take me across the
street to a subdivision and we would take walks there at night. She showed
me the houses that were being built and where the kitchens and bedrooms
would eventually be, but the whole time she was talking I was thinking
that this is wrong. It is farmland and it should stay farmland. That’s why
I give to AFT, because I love farms and I want to see them protected.”
