Letter from the President
THE TEMECULA VALLEY
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Temecula is the most beautiful place to live,
work and play. The Valley has something for
everyone: Old Town, Wine Country, gaming,
and all types of recreation and cultural opportunities.
The Chamber is starting 2007 with a new
vision and strategic plan for the next five years.
As the premiere business organization in the valley,
we are launching a new brand, starting with
our new logo. With a goal to become the largest
Chamber in Riverside County, The Temecula
Valley Chamber of Commerce currently represents
over 1,400 members and in excess of
22,000 employees. As we strive to increase our
members’ return on investment, the
Membership Committee has added several new
networking events including the Ambassador
Social, Networking Luncheons, 5 Minute
Networking and Women in Business.
The Southwest California Legislative Council,
a regional coalition, is starting its third year with
growing success. Dennis Frank, this year’s
Chairman, brings experience and leadership to
the council. Our goal for the SWCLC is to continue
efforts in supporting AB 401 to help expedite
infrastructure improvements in our area.
We will continue to review and consider bills
that affect our business community and visit
Sacramento to implement a positive change in
California economic vitality.
In 2007, the Temecula Valley Conventions
and Visitor Bureau is set for an exciting year. The
Board of Directors of the TVCVB has approved a
marketing plan to boost revenue at area hotels
and motels over the next five years. And later this
year they will be opening a Temecula retail and
marketing location in Old Town.
The Chamber would like to thank each of our
members for their continued support of the
Chamber and Temecula. The commitment of the
member volunteers on all of the Chamber committees
is unprecedented.
May we also extend a very special thank you
to our Chairman’s Elite Circle members. Their
contributions allow us to offer greater services to
our members and the community at large.
