TEGUISE MARKET<br />

Departure towards the town of Teguise, the old capital of the island,<br />

where every Sunday a noisy and traditional market is held that hosts<br />

diverse and varied samples. We will have free time to visit the market<br />

and the possibility of admiring the usual performances of folk groups<br />

that are held in the central square of this town, surrounded by various<br />

historical places, such as its church or the Spínola Palace, of this town.<br />

Later we continue to the north of the island from where we will<br />

embark on a modern catamaran, to make the journey to the island of<br />

La Graciosa, with free time to visit Caleta. Return to the ship for lunch.<br />

Maritime walk along the North coast of Lanzarote back to the Órzola<br />

pier at around 4:00 p.m.<br />

Betancuria and enjoy the landscape<br />

of the Natural Park of the Dunes of<br />

Corralejo.<br />

Departure to the Playa Blanca Pier. Boarding and crossing of about 35<br />

minutes to the pier of Corralejo, in Fuerteventura, an island full of<br />

contrasts that will surprise us with a mountainous landscape and large<br />

herds of goats.<br />

We approach the town of La Oliva to see the Church of La Candelaria,<br />

with traditional Canarian architecture dating from the 18th century.<br />

[Optional lunch en route]. From there we will go to the old capital,<br />

Betancuria, where we will have free time to visit the town (possibility of<br />

visiting CASA SANTA MARIA, NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE). After this stop,<br />

we will visit a typical Canarian museum farm, with different animals<br />

and its own cheese factory.<br />

Stop at the Aloe factory. Returning to the north, we will cross Puerto<br />

del Rosario and skirt the coast until we reach the Natural Park of the<br />

Dunes of Corralejo. There we will have free time to enjoy this wonderful<br />

natural setting. <br />

Return to the Corralejo pier and cruise to Playa Blanca.<br />

TREKKING CORONA VOLCANO -<br />

RISCO FAMARA - HARIA VALLEY<br />

Long-distance route, in which<br />

you can have a good view of<br />

the north of the island.<br />

We start by visiting the impressive<br />

La Corona Volcano, then we will<br />

head towards the crest of the Risco<br />

de Famara.<br />

This route takes place in the northern part of the island where two<br />

protected natural spaces are crossed; The Natural Monument of the<br />

Volcán de La Corona and the cliffs of Famara within the Natural Park of<br />

the Chinijo Archipelago.<br />

We start in the town of Ye from where we head to the Corona volcano.<br />

After seeing its enormous crater, we will surround it on its east face to be<br />

able to observe in the distance how its 7.6 km long volcanic tube runs, of<br />

which 1.6 km are today submerged because this eruption occurred during<br />

the height of the last glacial era, when the sea level was more than 90<br />

meters below the current level.<br />

Later we will descend and walk a few kilometers in the central part of the<br />

Famara cliff, which with its 22km lenght rises like an impressive rock wall<br />

from sea level to more than 500 meters high, being able to see the top at<br />

a short distance from us. of the island; Las Peñas del Chache with its 670<br />

m and the wonderful view of the Chinijo Archipelago as a whole with the<br />

island of La Graciosa in the foreground, truly unforgettable!!!<br />

TREKKING IN A LUNAR LANDSCAPE<br />

The Volcanoes Natural Park,<br />

together with the Timanfaya<br />

National Park, is one of the areas<br />

affected by the eruptions of 1730-36<br />

and 1824.<br />

A visit that will lead us to understand<br />

the internal forces of our planet and<br />

what it was like millions of years ago.<br />

Pick up at the different points and departure to the Volcanoes Natural<br />

Park, where we will make a 6 kilometer walking route, entering craters,<br />

walking between volcanoes and crossing lava flows. I return around 3:00<br />

p.m. approximately.<br />

In this natural space we carry out an itinerary in which the visitor can<br />

discover the wonderful world of volcanoes by crossing lava flows,<br />

ascending volcanic cones where there are channels and lava tubes, lava<br />

lakes and spectacular craters. All these formations are preserved in<br />

perfect condition since Lanzarote has an arid climate, hardly any<br />

vegetation grows, preserving the landscape as if it were a gigantic openair<br />

rock museum.<br />
