ISLAND TOUR AKA Long North tour Explore true gems around the old capital, the Villa de Teguise, during this excursion through the north of Lanzarote. Visit LagOmar, the Valley of a Thousand Palms, the Mirador del Río, as well as the fascinating Cuevas de los Verdes and the wonderful Cactus Garden. Departure to the town of Teguise, the old capital of the island, where we will make a brief stop to admire its church, its cobbled streets, and the sensation of moving to an old traditional village. Later, and crossing the town of Los Valles, we head towards the town of Haría, where we will observe a wonderful view of a beautiful palm grove, known as "The Valley of a Thousand Palms". From there we will go, bordering the Volcano and the Malpaís de la Corona towards the Cueva de los Verdes. A cave of undoubted beauty that includes an indescribable and totally different landscape, formed by volcanic eruptions. Passing through the towns of Mala, with a stop at the Aloe Museum, and Guatiza, admiring the prickly pear plantations that house the cochineal, used as a natural dye, we arrive to visit the Cactus Garden. From there, we approach the town of Tahiche, to visit the Cesar Manrique Foundation, which houses the former home of the great artist from Lanzarote, and which today houses the foundation that bears his name, collecting different pictorial and sculptural samples inside. of different avant-garde artists, as well as admire their work. Return to the collection points. Duration: 7 - 8 hours approx. Level: Easy Includes: Bus, official guide, entrance to Cueva de los Verdes, Cactus Garden and Cesar Manrique Foundation. TEGUISE MARKET + optional Graciosa On Sundays, the picturesque town of Teguise dresses up in its traditional market. We take you to their stalls so you can do your shopping with ease. Departure towards the town of Teguise, the old capital of the island, where every Sunday a noisy and traditional market is held that hosts diverse and varied samples. We will have free time to visit the market and the possibility of admiring the usual performances of folk groups that are held in the central square of this town, surrounded by various historical places, such as its church or the Spínola Palace, of this town. Later we continue to the north of the island from where we will embark on a modern catamaran, to make the journey to the island of La Graciosa, with free time to visit Caleta. Return to the ship for lunch. Maritime walk along the North coast of Lanzarote back to the Órzola pier at around 4:00 p.m. Return to the different collection points. Note: The itinerary may be modified by inclement weather. Market Duration: 4 hours approx.
