been called by Ray B, Dean, sec-
retary of the Chnmber of com-
From all present indications,
the decorations to be seen
Christinas will be the best ever.
Strings of colored lijshts, obtain-
porches and windows, as wjll as
inalde.
It has been pointed out that a
masse of lights of Intricate^ design
is not necessary for a pleasinc
display. A few lights, well placed
in slmnle desljrn, with harmon-
ions color effect, might be Just
as pleasing to the eye. Neatness
and originality art Important
factors In beautiful decorations.
Outside displays do not requirs
Installation of outglds electric
outlets. Extension cords may be
run out through windowi, and
the cracks stuffed with paner or
cloth to keep out the cold air.
The strings of lights may, of
course, be kept from year to year,
with the occasional replacing of
a bulb the only cost of upkeep.
normal receipts, will give them a profitable Christmas sea«ori.
The money spent at these stores will, in turn, be used to
help pay Ocean City taxes, to buy necessities lit other Ocean
Ocean City stores have progressed to a point where their
merchandise selection and variety can meet practically all re-
