Optimised for the use of solar <strong>modules</strong> <strong>with</strong><br />
5" and 6" cells<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>inverters</strong> optionally have two input voltage<br />
ranges: the high voltage range (HV) is suitable for<br />
<strong>modules</strong> <strong>with</strong> 5" cells; the medium range (MV) is ideal<br />
for 6" cells. <strong>The</strong>se two special voltage ranges prevent<br />
output losses through optimal adjustment of the string<br />
voltages to the operating area of the <strong>inverters</strong>.<br />
Power module and separate connection<br />

At the heart of these <strong>inverters</strong> are <strong>power</strong> <strong>modules</strong>:<br />
compact <strong>power</strong> semiconductors which replace the previously<br />
used discrete <strong>power</strong> semiconductors. <strong>The</strong> HFtransformer<br />
technology separates the DC-side galvanic<br />
from the public AC-grid. <strong>The</strong> <strong>inverters</strong> have a connec-<br />

Kaco Powador 00 Series<br />
Inverters <strong>with</strong>out transformers<br />
Higher efficiency<br />
Without transformers, the <strong>inverters</strong> of the Kaco 00<br />
series achieve optimal efficiency. As a specialist for<br />
<strong>inverters</strong> <strong>with</strong>out transformers, Kaco has equipped all<br />
devices of the 00 series <strong>with</strong> a full bridge and omitted<br />
the boost converters. <strong>The</strong> self-controlled devices emulate<br />
the sinus voltage curve of the public <strong>power</strong> grid<br />
using a H4 bridge. Prerequisite for using the 00 series<br />
<strong>inverters</strong> is an input voltage higher than the grid peak<br />
voltage.<br />
Simple installation<br />
With a MPP range of 350 to 600 V and an off-load<br />
voltage of 800 V the conditions for a simple system<br />

further processing the system data.<br />
<strong>The</strong> WebBox is the right choice for the ambitious system<br />
operator who wishes to document the system data<br />
completely and continuously. Even from remote locations,<br />
where no DSL or telephone connection is available,<br />
the PV system can display its measurement data at<br />
Sunny Portal via the optional GSM modem.<br />
Sunny SensorBox<br />
It was specially developed to further refine performance<br />
analysis of solar <strong>power</strong> stations. With the Sunny<br />
SensorBox, it is now possible to acquire environmental<br />
data also, such as irradiation and module temperature,<br />
in order to detect any PV module faults or failures<br />
promptly. <strong>The</strong> Sunny SensorBox is simply connected<br />
<strong>with</strong> the <strong>inverters</strong> via the serial RS485data link to a<br />
Sunny WebBox.<br />
<strong>The</strong> SMA WebBox ensures professional monitoring of up to<br />
50 <strong>inverters</strong> on the Internet.
