Take & Make Monday Crafts for Kids<br />

Every Monday, a limited number of craft kits will be available for pick-up for<br />

children to create at home. Basic supplies and instructions will be provided. Craft<br />

kits are suitable for all ages; younger children may need adult assistance.<br />

Garden Grubs<br />

Our Garden Club for kids returns this summer beginning Monday, <strong>June</strong> 6 th at<br />

3:30 pm. Kids ages 7-14 can join Mrs. Barb as they learn to plant and care for a<br />

variety of plants and vegetables. Registration for all 8 weeks is required.<br />

LEGO Club<br />

Kids ages 6-12, come share your creativity and join us for a fun day of building<br />

with Legos! Your creation can be inspired by our weekly theme or your own<br />

design. Lego Club meets twice a month. Tuesdays, <strong>June</strong> 14 th & 28 th at 4:00 pm<br />

Craftweens<br />

Tweens/Teen in grades 4-8 can come to the library to make an ocean themed<br />

craft on Thursday, <strong>June</strong> 9 th at 3:30 pm. Registration is required. Leftover crafts<br />

will be available for pick-up, while supplies last, after the program.<br />

Big Balloons Under the Sea: Mr. Smarty Pants returns in person with<br />

his magic, comedy and balloon creations. All ages welcome.<br />

Preschool Story Time - Summer Session<br />

Kids ages 1-5, under 3 with adult, can come hear stories and make a craft<br />

to take home during this 30-minute program. Story Time meets on<br />

Fridays, at 10:30 am from <strong>June</strong> 10-July 29 th . Space is limited.<br />

Registration is required. Mask wearing protocols will be in place.<br />

Messy Mondays for Toddlers & Preschoolers<br />

Parents can bring their young ones (ages 1-4) to the library to create<br />

with all things messy during this 30-minute art class. Please wear clothes<br />

to get messy. Class will meet twice a month on Mondays at 10:30 am.<br />

<strong>June</strong> dates: <strong>June</strong> 6 th & 20 th . Registration is required to attend.<br />

Read to the Dogs!<br />

Therapy dogs Hershey and Hazel are back at the library, and ready to hear<br />

kids grades K-4 read their favorite stories. Registration is required for a<br />

reading time. Wednesday, <strong>June</strong> 15 th , 2022, from 5:00-6:00 pm.<br />

Chess for Kids<br />

Miss playing chess with your friends or would you like to learn how to<br />

play chess? If so, Mr. Pierre is back to host another session of Chess for<br />

Kids. Program open to kids ages 6-16. Friday, <strong>June</strong> 17 th at 3:30 pm.<br />

Registration is required. Limit of 10 children.<br />

Take Home Science Kits<br />

Crestwood Library will be offering hands-on science kits for kids to experiment<br />

at home. Adult supervision may be required. A limited number of take-home<br />

science kits will be available to pick up beginning Wednesday, <strong>June</strong> 8 th , 2022.<br />

Family BINGO<br />

Family Bingo returns on Wednesday, <strong>June</strong> 29 th , 2022, at 6:00 pm. Bring<br />

the whole family for a fun night of Bingo. When a parent gets Bingo, the<br />

kids win the prize! Registration Required. Limit of 8 families.
