<strong>Tristar</strong> PMA/CES 2012 All aluminum construction closeup camera rail with built- in arms for TTL flash units. This is the setup for micro photography of small things in our world. The special twin arms are fully adjustable. Each has a spring loaded ballhead , equipped with lockable flash cold shoe mount on it. One twin TTL cable is included. TTL flash lighting for micro digital imaging made possible by our XYZ-01 camera rail When both of automatic TTL flash are mounted on the twin TTL cord, which couples the camera’s hot shoe, a fully automatic exposure on flash and camera can be achieved. Twin flash allows more lighting effect on the object. (TTL cable available for Canon, Panasonic, Pentax, Olympus, Pentax, Sony. (Nikon is not available) XYZ-01 Camera rail allows the camera to flip both horizontal and vertical format. The dovetail design on rail ensures secured and smooth slide. As the product name implies, the camera can move X and Y axis when camera is on horizontal X axis format. When camera is in vertical format, camera can move X and Z axis only. As micro photography requires only minor adjustment on all axis, this design makes slight changes of camera position more easily. Most of the experient photographers know, moving the tripod slightly to compose the image, is difficult as the whole things would be heavy.The two arms are designed like human arms, can position both TTL flashes at any angle or position, this flexibility allows photographer to cope with difficult lighting problem on small objects. Sample set up for diffused light This ingenous design of reflector/diffuser frame is rigidly built, able to mount on any light stand with 5/8” spigot. The frame can be flipped almost 350 degrees and be locked at any angle. The unit comes with 3 fabric material, Silver, Gold and Transucent. The Silver and Gold material has a white surface on other side. User can use this product as diffuser, or even to emulate light from soft box. Any make of electronic flash, tungsten light, fluorescent lamp or LED, can work without problem, no need for speed ring as required by softbox. This makes it very versatile.
