FRIENDLY REMINDER
A friendly reminder that this is a family event and we
are asking for your cooperation in ensuring that all
visitors and citizens enjoy it to the fullest.
Below are some Nova Scotia and Town of Digby laws that apply to motorcyclists.
This is not a complete list, but a friendly reminder we ask your assistance with.
The Town of Digby does have an Excessive Noise Laws and Bylaws. Burnouts or
wheel stands are not allowed on any public roads.
Montague Row, Water Street and Birch Street are one-way northbound 24 hours
a day from Friday, 2nd September at 8 am until Monday, September 5th at 8 am.
If barricades are in place, those streets are open to motorcycle traffic only.
Nova Scotia’s open liquor container law applies during the bike rally. This is a
family event, public intoxication and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated by
the police.
Motorcycles must not be driven more than two abreast in a single lane. Do not
pass a car in the same lane.
Nova Scotia laws state that approved helmets are required for all riders.
