Richardson saw the opportunity and took
2nd overall with just 1 point to spare. One
of the local lads was also there to play
with the Gauteng boys, #14 Jesse Conci
looked really good out there as he claimed
1st in his class.
Ladies & Gentleman, boys and girls...
please come closer for the Final show.
The BIG boys went out to play next. The
tension was palpable, building as the SM1
& SM1X alongside the “old ballies” SM
Masters & SM Grand Masters all line up
on the grid. Launch off with magnificent
power and speed as the flag dropped, all
attacking the first corner and accelerating
hard as they exited. With stupendous
speed they flew through the cork screw
and with 4 different classes on track there
was some truly gripping and amazing
racing. Local boy Nick Louw on his #429
Yamaha gave the Grand Masters a real
taste of local flavour as he powered his
way to 2nd overall. Sliding into corners,
front wheels lifting as they power wheelied
out the corners, all topped off by some
cool stunts while on the back wheel. What
a great show put on by these pro racers!
Well done guys we truly appreciate the
talent you guys bless us with.
With all that action that was packed into
just one day, makes the anticipation for
the next race almost unbearable. Round 6
of the SASCS will take place at Formula K
on the 13th of August. See you there. Just
before we say good bye we would like to
give a special shout out to SASCS biggest
supporter and friend to all, Rudy Otten you
brighten up the track and the pits with your
presence. Rudy we will see you in the pits
soon.
