GALVANISING<br />
Secure your high, slim gabion fences from tipping. Our quality galvanised posts hold your stone<br />
baskets securely in position. We offer them in various heights to fit your individual needs.<br />
The posts are set in concrete 60 to 80 cm deep in stable soil. If a foundation is already in place,<br />
post anchors can be used. Simply anchor these in the foundation and push the post over the long<br />
shaft. Then set up the gabion over the posts. Note that at least two-thirds of the post should go<br />
into the gabion! It is not necessary to attach the stone basket to the post. Filling the stones hides<br />
the posts, and the posts and stones interlock so that the gabion stands firm and cannot tip.<br />
Use at least two posts for individual elements, or at least one post per metre of length for<br />
linked gabion fences.<br />
TIP<br />
We recommend tipping prevention for walls with over 80 cm height (H)<br />
andless than 40 cm depth (D) i.e. D/H
