KNOOKING is an innovative method of knitting with a crochet

KNOOKING ist eine pfiffige Idee, die Stricken mit der Häkelnadel
möglich macht und ein Maschenbild ergibt, das tatsächlich
aussieht wie gestrickt. Keine Masche rutscht mehr von der Nadel
- Ideal auch für unterwegs.
The Knooking needle looks similar to a crochet hook but with an eye at one end to thread
a smooth cord which is then used in place of a needle to hold the stitches. The attached
cord used in knooking enables you to create knitted fabric without the worry of dropping
stitches. The knooking technique is perfect for travelling as only one needle is required.
Die Knooking Nadel sieht aus wie eine Häkelnadel – man häkelt damit auch wie mit einer
Häkelnadel. Entscheidend ist dabei aber das Öhr am unteren Ende, durch das ein Hilfsfaden
eingefädelt wird, auf dem die Maschen liegen. Wie beim Häkeln, bietet auch Knooking den
Vorteil, dass keine Maschen von der Nadel rutschen. Knooking eignet sich auch hervorragend
für unterwegs, da nur eine Nadel wie beim „normalen“ Häkeln verwendet wird.
