. Henry Norman Gibson
was born in Florence, SC
on July 10, 1960, the son of
the late Henry Gibson Sr., and
Leanna (Brown) Gibson. He
departed this life on Saturday,
September 10, 2022.
One Love
Henry attended the Florence
County Public School system. He
was a self-employed carpenter. He
was a member of NGRI Ministries
Southeast Regional Int. Henry was
also a member of Maxwell Baptist
Church.
Those left to cherish his memories
are two daughters Tasha Graham of
Atlanta, GA and Tanisha Gibson
of Baltimore, MD; one son Jerome
(Nick) Gibson of Baltimore, MD;
20 grand children; five siblings, two
brothers: John A. Brown and James
D. Gibson; three sisters: Shirley
A. Jefferson, Peggy A. Gibson and
Laura A. Gibson; ex-wife Dorenda
Johnson Gibson; and a host of other
nieces, nephews, cousins, other
family and friends.

Dear Uncle they say that Dr. Dolittle is a myth well those
that watch the movie never had the pleasure of meeting
you in time thank you for showing us that Fear is an
illusion. From KC to Kojack from understanding and
always hearing you say, you know what to do with that,
it’s always been a pleasure to be in your presence.
It has been an honor to be your family. May your wings
glow and shine brighter than any other wing that we’ve
ever known. May your new spiritual legs teach every
angel willing to be apart of your karate class. May you
glide on your new journey sound as good as Smokey
Robinson an you cruise with a smile through galaxies.
Your Mother and the our ancestors will meet you in a
song of power and warrior strength. With brightness of
all others you will be welcomed with love and a giant
hug from your brother. You have traveled here well and
ending in a warrior stance.
May you sit and be at peace now feeling peace upon your
mountain home you always spoke of.
