Celebrating more than 11 years in downtown Placerville, The<br />
Independent Restaurant and Bar provides an outstanding<br />
American fusion menu and a top-tier full bar staffed by a friendly,<br />
energetic crew. The scratch kitchen uses only the freshest<br />
ingredients in creating exceptional grill and seafood entrées. We<br />
source our produce from local farms here in Northern CA and<br />
grow seasonal herbs (and hops!) in our side-lot garden. The bar<br />
prides itself on artisanal cocktails, fresh-squeezed juices, and<br />
house-made mixers, infusions and shrubs.<br />
Dine under the stars virtually year-round on the beautiful<br />
outdoor private patio! Lunch favorites include our Ahi Nicoise<br />
Salad, Blackened Salmon Tacos, and our “Independent Burger”.<br />
Dinner classics include our Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Certified<br />
Hereford Filet Mignon, Molasses-Brined Double-cut Pork Chop<br />
and our Lemon Caper Salmon. All of our desserts are made from<br />
