St Mary’s School, Cambridge is an independent
school (also known as a ‘public school’ or
‘private school’). We are ‘independent’ of
government control, which brings many
advantages, including freedom to offer an
innovative curriculum, significantly smaller
class sizes and a broader choice of subjects.
