If you’re looking for a nice end destination on<br />
an adventure ride, definitely make a plan to visit,<br />
they have a great bar and restaurant as well as<br />
camping and glamping facilities for adventure<br />
riders.<br />
They threw together a great get-together at their<br />
little place in the Magalies Mountains. With a<br />
three-course meal for everyone, live music, a<br />
cash bar and an entertaining raffle draw done by<br />
Altus Thiart and Pierre Breytenbach of Footpeg<br />
Diaries You Tube fame.<br />
Their varied and vast collection of bikes are on<br />
display in every spare spot, and each has an<br />
entertaining story attached,<br />
Big thanks to all the amazing sponsors of the<br />
day, many of the ladies left with some nice raffle<br />
prizes ranging from power banks and stainless<br />
steel motorcycle braai’s, to R8000 bike wrap<br />
vouchers from Ink<br />
Monkey and riding lessons from iRide.<br />
Thank you Peter Dixon and team for emergency<br />
response support, and Percy from BMW Motorrad<br />
Rustenburg LMG dealership as the back up<br />
vehicle (which was ultimately required for a ural<br />
sidecar ,,, no surprises there J<br />
Every rider brought along a bra to donate, (One<br />
of the ladies, Annemien collected from all her<br />
friends and arrived with over 30 bra’s in her<br />
backpack) to CANSA and sanitary products to<br />
donate to underprivileged girls. There were also<br />
some goodies for sale of which all proceeds<br />
went to charity.<br />
It was great, fun and a heartwarming experience.<br />
A massive success for the Throttle Angels and<br />
Grotto to Gravel.<br />
This event is an introduction to Throttle Angels,<br />
which Mariette is initiating, which will have a focus<br />
on all things associated with women riding.<br />
