Charles Alexander Lorenz Vollhardt served in the Klerksdorp Kommando from October 1899. He
took part in battles at Mafeking, Modderrivier, Maggasfontein, Blaubank, Koedoesrant, Stinkfontein,
Paardeberg and others. Sold with copy of Vorm B.
22 – Veldkornet D. N. J. van Vuuren. EF 3.000 – 4.400
Daniel Nicolas J. van Vuuren served in the Johannesburg Kommando from October 1899. He took
part in battles at Colesberg, Abrahamskraal and others. Last day at Dalmatha (died).

Petrus Johannes Adendorf served Generals de Wet, Hertzog and Fouche as a member of the “Spion
Korp” for two years in the Free State. P.o.W. in Ceylon. Sold with copy of Vorm B.
24 – Burger J. W. Storm. EF 2.800 – 4.000
Jan Willem Storm served in the Bethlehem Kommando from 3 October 1899 to 26 November 1901.
P.o.W. to Bermuda. He took part in battles in Natal and the Free State. Sold with copy of Vorm B.
25 – Burger L. C. T. Jonas. EF 2.800 – 4.000
Leonard Conrad Theodor Jonas served in the Heidelberg Kommando from the beginning of the war
to 4 May 1902 when he was jailed till signing of peace. He took part in battles at Platrand, Abramskraal,
Vereniging and others. Sold with copy of Vorm B.
26 – Burger A. S. van Rooyen. EF 3.000 – 4.400
Andries Stefanus van Rooyen 25 years old of Weltevreden, Somerset East and served in Lotter’s
Kommando. He took part in battles in Cape Province. Captured at Paardefontein on 5 September 1901.
As a “Cape Rebel” he was sentenced to death on 23 September 1901 in Graaf Reinet. Commuted to
“Penal Servitude” for life in Bermuda for High Treason under arms, murder, and marauding. Royal
Commission reduced sentence to 3 years. Returned to the Cape Colony in February 1903. Arrived at
Tokai Goal on 16 February 1903 as prisoner No. 481. Amnestied 26 March 1903.

27 – Burger B. J. J. Pienaar. EF 3.000 – 4.400
Barend Johannes Jacobus Pienaar a farmer of The Glen, Aberdeen, served with Scheepers
Kommando from 3 March 1901. A “Cape Rebel” he served in the Aberdeen District and took part in
battles in served in the Rustenburg Kommando from October 1899 to 200 January 1901 Oudtshoorn,
Calvinia, Victoria and other smaller skirmishes. Laid down arms to Col McCracken of the Berkshire
