These elegant ensembles capture
the spirit of the Turkish city
- romance, heritage and tradition: the same

Classic red and gold have long been the
choice for brides from all South Asian cultures
and it’s experiencing a revival among young
brides who are keen to go back to their roots.
While the colour pairing will always have a
timeless quality, the pieces are made more
appealing thanks to their flattering, fitted cuts.
The luxurious lengha is embellished with
bold 3D embroidery and beading featured in
simple fan motifs, while in the second outfit, a
dramatic long jacket commands attention. It’s
the ultimate outfit for an Autumn/Winter bride,

during the cooler months when long sleeves

Birmingham-based bespoke jewellery brand
Jauhar Jewels created grand bridal sets where
the statement neckpiece connects with stylish
head chains. Large tikkas frame the face using
traditional Pakistani jewels in red and green,
while nose rings add attitude.
A traditional accessory that modern brides
love to wear, bridal nose rings can completely
transform your entire look with that extra,
unexpected detail.
For the make-up, Lubna Rafiq and her
assistants opted for dark, alluring smoked eyes
with soft pink lips. Blending brown and gold
eyeshadows created an antique quality which
harmonises with the heritage vibes of the
outfits. Skin was made flawless with minimal
contouring and just a splash of blush to
highlight cheeks adding gentle drama to these
timeless looks.
