Our range of tunnelling products.
VMT navigation systems were developed for different types of advance machines. They are
characterised by a modular software structure and easy menu-guided operation, paired with
the latest measurement and communication technology.
Long term experience and constantly increasing
demands by our customers has led to
systems which optimise tunnelling, increase
safety and minimise downtime.
Along with proven navigation systems, there
are software solutions above all for ring building.
They simplify calculation of the ring build
sequence, optimise the logistics for the segments
and monitor ring building by means of
various sensor systems.
In all areas of tunnelling VMT offers solutions
which automate not only the process flow
(Bentonite lubrication) but monitor the process
(JCPipe, Grouting, Geotechnical Measurements)
which improves both safety and quality.
The most modern communication and information
systems are used to continuously
monitor the construction process and guarantee
that information flows live to the site office.
With IRIS (Integrated Risk Information System),
we provide a web-based extensible database
management system. It collects data from the
different areas of the construction site, makes
it available for visualisation and evaluation and
archives it according to the existing standards.

In action internationally, we have branches on four continents and our work is based on a wealth

After being involved in hundreds of tunnel pro-

by VMT” has since come to stand for our out-

of tunnel boring machines of all types and
