SINGING AND SIGNING We are delighted to welcome the Fleet 2 Signing Choir, who will be performing at our fan zone as well as on the Loftus Road pitch at half-time. The choir is made up of past and present students from Fleetdown Primary Academy, Dartford who perform at a number of competitions and shows throughout the year. A Fleet 2 team of children aged eight to 14 recently took part in the National Signing Choir Competition at the prestigious Cadogan Hall in Sloane Square, where they finished third. QPR Trust events manager Justin Stone said: “It’s great to be able to offer an opportunity for this choir to show what a talented bunch of individuals they all are. “To be learning sign language at such a young age is a wonderful opportunity and a brilliant life skill to have.” RISING STARS We are also pleased to have as our guests Rising Stars FC, a non-profit organisation that works to help youngsters from multi-ethnic communities and disadvantaged areas in Gloucestershire enjoy and develop their football talents. Rising Stars linked up with some of the families who relocated after the Grenfell Tower tragedy in 2017 and now have more than 120 youngsters representing the club in local grassroots leagues at all levels within the county.
