On August 7 at our Provincialate
in Des Plaines, IL, our postulants
Rebecca Garcia and Kaitlyn Shelton
became novices during the Rite
of Initiation into the Novitiate.
As novices, these young women
also received their religious names.
Rebecca is now Sr. Mary Incarna
and Kaitlyn is Sr. Pia Marie.
During this novitate period of
their structured discernment, the
novices will work with the novice
director, Sr. Joanna Filip, to deepen
their knowledge about the CSFN
charism, spirituality, and history.
This two-year period includes
additional time for contemplation,
reflection, and structured retreats.
Please pray with us for Sr. Pia Marie
and Sr. Mary Incarna as well as
our second-year novices as they
continue to share in our life of
prayer and community and get to
know our Congregation better.
