TO A CAD MODEL

SEMA introduces new standards in the
processing of digital 3D data and its
implementation in CAD software. The 3D
images created with a laser scanner are
imported directly into the SEMA software
as a point cloud. The 3D models form the
perfect basis for renovation plans or work
on existing structures. Vertical/horizontal
sections can be created immediately in
the programme and all relevant survey
points can be identified quickly and easily.
By using point clouds directly in the SEMA
programme, a high level of planning
accuracy is achieved. The result is a digital
survey of the entire construction site, i.e.
the entire existing building fabric, which is
available as a millimetre-accurate 3D
model for planning purposes. This type of
surveying on the construction site means
that no dimensions are forgotten and
there are no nasty surprises, as in the past,
during assembly on the construction site!
