STOUT AUCTIONS<br />

701 Lionel Union Pacific F3s repainted from 2383, 2343, and 2343C units. One A unit is horizontal motors and the other is<br />

vertical. Repaints are older and are starting to show minor chipping in the paint and decals along with some scuffing. 2383<br />

has some repaired battery damage, while 2343 looks clean. Units look C7-8 and are sold as refinished.<br />

702 Custom painted Lionel passenger cars. Cars have been painted in B&O. 2530 small door baggage car, four 2523 coaches,<br />

four 2522 vista domes and 2521 observation. The repaints are starting to show various small scratches and chips but decals<br />

are still in nice condition. As repaints go these would be C7.<br />

703 Lot includes four Lionel F3 shells all louvered vents on top. Two shells are custom painted southern with one glued and<br />

one missing horn. The other two shells are gold vacuum plated Chessie shells. Plating is starting to ware in large sections<br />

on each shell. Two Lionel Santa Fe 218 Alco shells. One shell has scotch tape over the E unit lever slot and some light<br />

scratches. Shells range C6-C8. See photos for best description.<br />

704 Four Williams Baltimore and Ohio passenger car bodies on two of four postwar Lionel passenger car frames. Includes two<br />

coaches, one vista and observation. Cars are C7-8 with some rollers having groove marks in them, over all shells are clean.<br />

See photos.<br />

705 Four Lionel 2532 Vista Domes. Three are custom painted Union Pacific while the other is Silver range. Cars are C7 in the<br />

repaint with some slight chips and scratches. Silver range has some paint chipping on the vista dome and the car ends. One<br />

end is loose. Silver range is C7.<br />

706 Lionel 11737 F3 A-B-A set. Locos are C8+ with very some run time. Roofs have extremely light box rub, you really have<br />

to look to see it. Rail sounds button included. Also included is reissue set of shells with upgraded font. One shell has scuff<br />

mark above cab, otherwise shells look C8-9. OB has some small dents and shelf wear.<br />

707 Lionel TCA passenger cars, nine total. Passenger cars include 52220 Chattanooga vista dome, 52085 Dallas vista dome,<br />

52106 Phoenix dining car, 52062 Seattle observation, 52250 Chicago combo, 52274 Los Angeles RPO, 52191 Grand<br />

Rapids duplex, 52155 San Francisco baggage and 52143 Providence coach. Cars look C8+ in most cases with the<br />

exception of the lower skirt on just about every car has a light to moderate scratch from hitting a switch machine. Because<br />

of scratch we must grade lower C7. OBs in good condition.<br />

708 MTH Premier 20-2261-1 Union Pacific Propane turbine in OB. Comes with instructions. Loco features Protosound 2.0,<br />

DCS control, fan driven smoke unit, and much more. Loco is high C8 with some run time, and some very small rubs on the<br />

detail pipes on top of the loco.<br />

709 MTH Premier 20-2214-1 Union Pacific coal turbine in OB. Loco features Protosound, Protosmoke, and Protocoupler. Loco<br />

has all paperwork and is C9-10.<br />

710 MTH Dealer Appreciation 20-80002l Pennsylvania Baby Turbine with Protosound in OB. Loco also features smoke and<br />

Protocoupler. Loco is high C8-9 condition.<br />

711 Lot of 10 railroad related hard back books. Includes B&O power by Sagle and Staufer, B&O Power by Staufer, Steam in<br />

the Sixties by Ziel and Foster, The Twilight of Steam Locomotives by Ziel, Rails Through Dixie by Krause, Locomotives<br />

in My Life by Wood, Signatures in Steel by McDonnell, Development of the Locomotive Engine by Sinclair, and The<br />

Story of American Railroads by Holbrook. Books are good reader condition, some have tears in the dust jackets.<br />

712 Lot of 10 Railroad hard back books in good reader condition. Books include 20th Century by Beebe, Sherman Hill by<br />

Ehernberger and Gschwind, two copies of Pittsburgh and Lake Erie by McLean, The Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway by<br />

MacLachlan, On the Main Line by Alexander, Portrait of the Rails by Ball, Narrow Gauge to Central and Silver Plume by<br />

Hauck, and The Collectors book of Railroadiana by Baker and Kunz.<br />

713 10 Railroad books including The Last of Steam by Collias, two copies of America’s Colorful Railroads by Ball, The<br />

History of the Baltimore and Ohio by Jacobs, Canadian Pacific Railway by Dorin, The Virginian Railway by Reed, Narrow<br />

Gauge in the Rockies by Beebe and Clegg, The Late Great Pennsylvania Station by Diehl, The Moffat Road by Bollinger<br />

and Bauer, and The President Travels by Train by Withers. Books are in very nice condition with only a few showing light<br />

reader wear.
