SPRINTS, SPRINTS, SPRINTS
If you didn’t know by now, sprints are 100km dashes to the finish line that take place
on Saturdays - not only are points up for grabs, but the sprint results set the grid for
the race, too. In 2023 there are a total of six planned sprint races - Azerbaijan (Baku
City Circuit), Austria (Red Bull Ring), Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps), Qatar (Lusail
Circuit), the United States (Circuit of The Americas) and Sao Paulo (Interlagos).
BRING ON THE ROOKIES
This year, there are three rookies joining Formula 1 full-time - for AlphaTauri, we
have Nyck de Vries (AlphaTauri), for Williams, Logan Sargeant takes a seat, and
for McLaren, Oscar Piastri makes his full-time debut. New drivers on the grid will
always shake things up a bit, and we’re looking forward to what they’re going
to bring to the track throughout the year. Will we have surprise podium or even
victory from a rookie? We hope so.
