The Mighty Dog Trail Runs. Bring

race at Folsom’s Granite Beach.
Choose between a 10K (8 a.m.)
and 5K (8:05 a.m.), along with a
one-mile, Fido-friendly course.
Participants (dogs included!) will
receive a five-liter waterproof gear
bag and bandana at the finish line.

Got Talent Sacramento.
Support theater arts education
at this annual fundraiser
gala featuring local talent from
the Sacramento area. On this
red-carpet night at Roseville’s
Valley Springs Church, patrons
are treated to dessert, wine, and
coffee, as well as silent and live
auctions while being dazzled by
competing performers. Proceeds
go toward scholarships, theater
rental, costumes, and other
Christian Youth Theater expenses.

Spartan Race. Challenge yourself
by scaling walls, crawling under
barbed wire, and more at this
race at Folsom Lake College. The
Super 10K features 25 obstacles
and will take place on Saturday
(start times vary), while the Sprint
5K with 20 obstacles will begin
Sunday with varying times. In
addition, there will be kids’ races
ages 4-14) with obstacles taking
place throughout the weekend.
