FIVE EASY WAYS TO ENGAGE
1. Update your contact information
at bsc.edu/alumni to provide a current
address, phone, or email, share your current
employment information, or notify us of a
name change.
2. Submit a Class Note, news of career
updates, weddings, births, and other life events
at bsc.edu/alumni.
3. Honor a classmate. Nominate a graduate
for the Distinguished Alumni Award or
the Outstanding Young Alumni Award.
Nominations are made online beginning in
January at bsc.edu/alumni.
4. Send us a future BSC student. Email our
Admissions staff at admissions@bsc.edu with
the names of the best students you know.
5. Help us tell BSC stories during the Year of
the Ginkgo. Tell us about alumni, faculty, staff,
or students who embody each of the words
of the year – purpose, connection, resilience,
caring, creativity, leadership, tenacity, and
confidence. Who in your BSC circle exemplifies
purpose? Who has shown tenacity or resilience
in the face of challenge or has excelled as
a leader? Who keeps you connected to
the Hilltop, or demonstrates creativity or
confidence? Who is living a life that shows
caring for others? Email us at alumni@bsc.edu.
Jack Dominick ’21, featured in Alumni Stories beginning on
page 37, returned to campus to reprise his role as Dr. Herman
von German. During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in
2020, Dominick’s Herman von German character helped the BSC
communications department educate students, faculty, and staff on
health tips and protocols. In fall 2022, he returned to share fun facts
about the ginkgo tree. Scan the QR code with your smartphone to
watch his latest video. A special thank you to Logan Lowery ’22 and
Adam Martin, a BSC senior, who collaborated with Dominick on the
catchy theme song.
