ADAM BAILEY (MOUSEY)
JOINED MEN’S TEAM 2015
POSITION Midfielder
Adam started playing football at the age
of 5 years old in England. Adam played
for Reading FC Under 12’s for a season
before having a bad knee injury which
set him back. He had a bad occurrence
of knee injuries between the age of
11-14 years old, but he managed to
push through to a school of excellence
in Birmingham where he was picked
up to play for Stoke City for 2 years.
Unfortunately, Adam didn’t get his pro
contract at 16 years old.
After leaving Stoke City, Adam played
for his local side Didcot Town for 2
years and was the youngest player at
that period of time to represent Didcot.
After a successful 2 years, Adam moved
on to Conference side Banbury United
where he had 1 successful season but
left to join local side Milton United.
Adam finished that season as Young
Player of the Year and 2nd top scorer
in the team. He was then picked up
by Thatcham Town but struggled
throughout the season with injuries.
Within this period, Adam gained
his county cap for Oxfordshire after
representing his county over 30 times.
After his time at Thatcham Town, Adam
decided to step down from football and
just play with his close friends to regain
his passion for the sport.
After moving to Hong Kong in 2012,
Adam joined the club and after
spending 2 successful seasons with
Lucky Mile, he then moved onto the
first team. Adam has now been a part of
the first team since 2015 and only had
1 season in 2016-2017 when he didn’t
play for the club. Adam has now played
a total of 8 seasons for the first team.
Adam says: “I have enjoyed being part
of a great group of players for a long
time now, and although the first season
in the premier league was disappointing,
with the hard work the team has put
in, we are now seeing a very successful
period for the first team. The support
of the club and matchday atmospheres
have been amazing and I hope that
continues. It has also been fantastic
to see younger players stepping
up through the club and exceeding
expectations. The future is bright for
the club and the first team.”
BRAD YUE
JOINED MEN’S TEAM 2021
POSITION Defender
Brad started playing football at age
6, first playing for ESF Lions. Brad
later played for several clubs before
finishing his youth career at Kitchee
Academy. After finishing secondary
school, Brad committed to the
University of San Francisco, joining
their Men’s Soccer Team.
After Hong Kong Football Club were
promoted to the Hong Kong Premier
League, Brad joined the first team in
2021 and has played for the team in
the past 2 seasons.
Brad says: “Our first season in the
Hong Kong Premier League was
definitely difficult, as for many
players in our squad including myself,
it was our first time being involved
at the professional level. But the
improvements that we have made this
season have been very encouraging,
having finished the first half of the
season in 4th position. We look to
continue the momentum heading into
the last quarter of the season and
secure a top half finish in the league.
I feel very fortunate to have the
opportunity to play for the first team,
and I thank Tony and the rest of the
coaching staff for developing me as
a player.”
