EVENTS VAI Golf Outing Golfers met in West Olive for the 15th annual VAI Golf Outing. Hosted at the stunning Wuskowhan Players Club, the event brought together community members, businesses and local organizations for an afternoon filled with golf, fun and research updates. The event featured a silent auction, a drone drop raffle, lunch and dinner — along with remarks from Hope College Football Coach Peter Stuursma. Couture for a Cure Michigan’s premiere fashion event gathered scientists, supporters and community members for an evening of fashion, fun and philanthropy. The 17th annual spectacular was one to remember, featuring a one-ofa-kind fashion show by Leigh’s along with a special presentation from world-renowned Italian brand Max Mara. Rarely seen outside their famous Milan shows, Max Mara treated guests to a unique look into their Fall/ Winter 2022 Collection. In addition to stunning glamour from Max Mara and Leigh’s, the runway showcased new looks from Artistry, many of which were available for guests at the beauty bar, where they could receive makeup touchups throughout the evening. A strolling cocktail hour and silent auction allowed attendees to mingle, while those looking to upgrade their wardrobes visited a unique Max Mara pop-up shopping experience.
