BCH Board of Directors 2021-22Our Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers from both clergy and business backgrounds. TheBoard was established in 1863. Bethany Springs is a for-profit entity of Bethany Home.Bethany Springs sells fresh spring water from Bethany’s mountain property to DS Waters. The revenue generated from saleshelps support Bethany’s therapeutic services.On a daily basis, an average of 12 tankers holding 8,000 gallons of water visit Bethany Springs. Our well currently ispumping 40 gallons per minute of fresh spring water. It takes 20 minutes to fill a tanker truck.
Bethany Children’s Home offers several different programoptions designed to meet the unique needs and goals ofeach young person who resides here.The Emergency Shelter, designed for no longer than30 days, offers a safe place while next steps and futureplacement options are explored by the youth and thecounty.Another option is the Short-Term program. This istypically a 90-day program designed to promote thedevelopment of healthy family relationships and subsequentreunification in the community.The Intensive and Residential programs offer supportand services to youth while they work on emotionalregulation, social skills and basic life skills. Youth in theseprograms are usually residents at Bethany for at least sixmonths, and most youth eventually work through theseprograms towards a less structured setting, like Bethany’sIndependent Living program.This program is geared toward youth ages 16-20 who haveThe team at Bethany Children’s Home provides a supportiveenvironment to promote growth and healing. Bethanytakes a unique approach to healing. We realize all youthdo not respond to one specific therapeutic process. Weoffer a variety of services to build resiliency and guide ouryouth toward a safe and healthy future. Youth in our careare offered many opportunities to address physical, social,cognitive, and psychological health and safety.Bethany offers the following services:Youth Services at Bethanydemonstrated consistent educational progress and who haveshown the ability to live more independently.Bethany youth who are between 18 and 21 years of agemay live in either the Supervised Independent Living andTransitional Living programs. Our Transitional Livingprogram is located on Bethany’s main campus and youthhave access to team member supports on a regular basis,through a residential advisor model. In our SupervisedIndependent Living program, youth can reside inapartments on or off campus while still receiving supportas needed.
