Llanelli Rugby Football Club have a vacancy for a Head
Groundsman at Stradey Park - one of the most famous Rugby
Grounds in the World.
The successful candidate will have complete responsibilty for the
stadium pitch and adjacent 2nd and 3rd pitches.
Working with the Director of Rugby and the Chief Executive, the
Head Groundsman will coordinate the day to day maintenance of
the pitches and the end of season renovations.
Minimum requirements for applicants are NVQ Level 3/4 (or
equivalent), PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates and 3 years
experience of maintaining high quality sports surfaces.
The position carries a competitive salary in line with IOG rates.

VACANCY for HEAD GROUNDSMAN
From Autumn 2005
The role will include the following:
•Responsibility for the day to day running of the County Ground
to a First Class Standard
•Management of a team of six grounds staff over three sites
•Overseeing the external sites of Blackstone Academy Ground
and Preston Nomads Cricket Club Ground
Personal qualifications:
•Previous First Class Cricket experience
•Supervisory skills
•Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
and modern ground care processes
•To live in or relocate to the county of Sussex

Head Groundsman (Tennis & Croquet)
Roehampton Club is a private members’ sports club in
southwest London, set in 100 acres of parkland close to Richmond
Park. We have arguably the finest range of sporting facilities in the
London area, including an 18-hole golf course, 41 tennis courts (29
concurrent), 5 squash courts, 4 croquet lawns, 2 swimming pools and a
state of the art fitness centre.
The Course & Grounds department has 18 people organised into 3
sections; Tennis & Croquet, Golf and Gardens. We are looking for
someone to manage and lead the 4 members of the Tennis & Croquet
team in this high profile position.
Minimum requirements are NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), a valid
spraying certificate and 6 years experience.
Lawn tennis experience is essential.
