Things to consider when creating your spot:
General: Be sure that all images and documents are suitabble
for PC and have the appropriate file extention.
Example: xyz.psd or xyz.jpg RGB color mode
Photoshop documents: Be sure to create a seperate layer for text and
images. Animation is not possible if text and
image is combined on one layer.

The text must be rasterized so that we can process
it.
To create zoom effects we require the image in
its final size.

Each step reduced to one frame. Animation of
single Text or image elements is not possible. This
is only good for storyboarding your idea.

Animation of various elements is now possible.
Font size: In order to be able to read your information clearly
on STATION and TRAIN INFOSCREEN we urge you
to use font sizes not smaller than 40px. This size
corresponds well with our standard resolution of
1024x576 px at 72dpi!
Animation: Fades, movement and effects require a certain
amount of time.
For example: 1 sec = 25 frames
Fast fade-in = 1 to 5 frames
Slow fade-in = 20 to 25 frames

If you book a short spot (5 - 8 seconds) we advise you to reduce the
amount of text (what, when, where). Animation in short spots should
be reduced to a minimum in order to ensure that your message is clearly
understood.

Information can be conveyed efficiently to the subway passengers in just
two steps.
If you want INFOSCREEN to animate your spot, we require a storyboard in
PDF format that will show exactly how you want us to construct the scenes
and the timing.
Additionally, the image rate of 25 frames/second can cause flickering when
using moving text. For this reason, we advice you not to use this effect!!!
For designers and photographers the introduction of the 16:9 aspect ratio
provides new possibilities. Thanks to this generous format, panaroma
images can have a whole new effect. On the other hand, this depth-offield
requires careful camera work. Please keep in mind that quick or
hectic camera movements will create unstable images and will reduce the
viewer’s perception.
Data amount for finished spots:
The amount of data will vary depending on spot length and file type
used.
Example:
-File - 1024x576 px - 25fps- uncompressed Video, data rate: 44 MB/sec.:
