Have you ever cried out to God “Why?” I lost count on how many times that I have questioned
God on why things happened to me the way they did. It took me over 40 years to get right with
God and to fully surrender to Him all of me. It was only then that He start giving me the
understanding as to why. God did not disclose everything at once and some of the things done to
me I will never know why. However, I do know that I have more of an understanding now on why I
went through what seemed like hell.My life was so miserable and depressing that I had tried
several times to destroy this vessel that God created, but God in His merciful grace wouldn’t allow
me to be destroyed. He helped me to survive and to ultimately overcome. Once my eyes where
opened and I saw the true meaning of my life, seeing my purpose and God’s plan for it, it was then
that quit asking God the big “why” question. Now, instead I asked Him to use me for His glory. It
was not an easy path that God put me on, but everything He has done in my life was well worth it.
All that I have been through is a testimony for others that will help them go through some of the
things that God has brought me through. God is all powerful. He is merciful and just. God can do
all things. I quit running and finally embraced everything that God has for me, and I will continue to
serve Him until He takes me home to heaven. This is my story. This is my journey. My purpose is
shout to the whole world that, “GOD CAN AND HE WILL!”The world tried to destroy me, but God
had other plans. You are not alone in your storm. If God can save me, then He can certainly save
you!
