house. We entered the house. I sat on the ground with<br />

the other kids. Santa was standing up tall and he was<br />

talking. I had no idea what he was saying. I was admiring<br />

his clothes and long white beard. I watched the children<br />

nodding their heads and then making a ‘shhh’ shape<br />

with their mouths. I didn’t understand. Then we all came<br />

out of the house and ran back to our parents.<br />

It was a magical day with sled rides on the snow, hot<br />

chocolate, seeing Santa’s house and playing with toys. It<br />

was a special trip with Mum. To this day, I never found<br />

out what Santa said. It’s a secret.<br />
