Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps<br />
- SL WiLAT was invited for the<br />
International Women’s Day event<br />
held at Sri Lanka Army Women’s<br />
Corps Headquarters, Colombo<br />
on 10 March <strong>2023</strong>. Niroza Gazzali,<br />
Chairperson WiLAT SL has been<br />
instrumental in collaborating this<br />
event.<br />
• IWD Celebration by WISTA Sri<br />
Lanka – Again, SL WiLAT was<br />
invited by WISTA Sri Lanka for<br />
the IWD celebration held on 16th<br />
March <strong>2023</strong> at the Kingsbury<br />
Hotel. Gayani de Alwis, Global<br />
WiLAT Chair, Dr. Namali Sirisoma,<br />
President CILT SL and Niroza<br />
Gazzali, Chairperson WiLAT SL<br />
graced the occasion<br />
• Membership Drive at the Sri Lanka<br />
Air Force, Jaela, Ekala - WiLAT<br />
SL, conducted a membership<br />
drive for the Sri Lanka Air Force<br />
Logistics Division on 27 March,<br />
<strong>2023</strong> at the Sri Lanka Air Force at<br />
Jaela, Ekala. Dr. Namali Sirisoma,<br />
President, CILT Sri Lanka joined<br />
online and gave an introduction<br />
to the CILT and the benefits <strong>of</strong><br />
being a member <strong>of</strong> the world’s<br />
best pr<strong>of</strong>essional body in the field<br />
<strong>of</strong> Supply Chain, Logistics and<br />
transport industry.<br />
• WiLAT Sri Lanka Partnership<br />
with Earth Hour Sri Lanka - To<br />
raise awareness around climate<br />
change and environmental best<br />
practices, WiLAT Sri Lanka has<br />
been organizing environmental<br />
initiatives to do good for Earth on<br />
25 March <strong>2023</strong>.<br />
• Online Workshop on Local<br />
Import and Export Procedures,<br />
Incoterms and Payment Methods<br />
– With over 85 participants, WiLAT<br />
SL, successfully concluded the<br />
online workshop on Local Import<br />
and Export Procedures and<br />
Payment Methods conducted by<br />

Co member and General Manager<br />
- Regency Teas (PVT) Ltd.<br />
