On this website, have a closer look at the Institute for Personalist
Psychology, a Catholic non-profit counselor formation center in
Metro New York founded in honor of the life and works of
Anna Terruwe, M.D., Ph.D. and Conrad W. Baars, M.D.

Short History of the ANNA TERRUWE MUSEUM
Anna Terruwe, M.D., Ph.D., the illustrious first woman neuro-psychiatrist
in Holland, was the protégé of the renowned Dutch Redemptorist priest
and professor Fr. Willem J. Duynstee, CSsR, Ph.D., LL.D.
In 2014, the House of Hope International charity's private "Dr. Anna
Terruwe Library & Resource Center" went through a public name change:
It became known as the ANNA TERRUWE MUSEUM because the print
formats of the organization's study collection were being quickly
transformed to accommodate the audio-visual learning requests of faithbased
researchers visiting by appointment.
However, as the number of men and women interested in the small
Museum teaching displays on Dr. Anna Terruwe grew, lay Carmelite
founding psychologists Dr. Denise Marie Mari and Lynn Marie Knapke,
M.A. were moved to set up more permanent exhibits for viewing by more
than one person at a time.
Thus, the Catholic House of Hope International is pleased to announce that
after a special Opening Day event for supporters this October 18th --feast
day of St. Luke when Dr. Terruwe's American collaborator, Conrad W.
Baars, M.D., died in 1981-- the one and only Anna Terruwe Museum in the
world will open on a monthly basis for the community at large.

I.P.P. teaching on Twitter introduces interested persons to the
common sense personalist psychology and applied counseling
approaches of Anna Terruwe, M.D., Ph.D. and Conrad W. Baars, M.D.
Included in the blog is an entirely Catholic psychological
approach that brings a greater depth and interest to the lively
Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts characters.
