BACHELOR OF APPLIED<br />

SCIENCE IN SUPERVISION<br />

AND MANAGEMENT<br />

The Bachelor of Applied Science (<strong>BAS</strong>) in <strong>Supervision</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Management</strong> is a versatile<br />

degree that prepares students to assume managerial roles in the public <strong>and</strong> private<br />

sectors. The program provides knowledge <strong>and</strong> skills in the areas of management,<br />

marketing, finance, operations, <strong>and</strong> strategy. Graduates of the <strong>BAS</strong> in <strong>Supervision</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>Management</strong> program will be prepared to lead <strong>and</strong> manage business operations in a<br />

variety of workforce settings. There are five specialization tracks to choose from.


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS<br />

Minimum: An associate’s degree (AA, AS, or AAS) from a regionally<br />

accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all<br />

postsecondary coursework.<br />

OR<br />

Minimum: 60 college credit semester hours from a regionally accredited<br />

institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all postsecondary<br />

coursework. Students must also meet the requirements for college-level<br />

placement in mathematics, reading, <strong>and</strong> writing prior to admission.<br />

All official post-secondary transcripts must be submitted <strong>and</strong> evaluated.<br />

* For the EMS specialization students must have a completed Associate of<br />

Science degree in EMS.<br />

All students (new <strong>and</strong> current) must apply at: broward.edu/apply.<br />

Students will receive an e-mail once a decision has been made or if<br />

any further information or documentation is needed from one of the<br />

<strong>BAS</strong> Student Success Coaches.<br />
